"How does it taste?" The woman, who introduced herself as Fiona, got her assistant to take over caring for Silas and dragged me into her tent to feed me.

All of the food inside the vault was made by a machine from a bland nutritional formula, which the seniors would constantly adapt and improve. The taste was nothing like the food which Fiona gave me.

I had no words to describe it, except maybe good. It was really, really good.

"It's good," I nodded, avoiding eye contact to stuff another leaf in my mouth. 

These were all made with actual ingredients, like how the people behind the screen or hologram ate. 

For some reason, she did not seem too pleased with my compliment. 

"It really is very good, thank you, Fiona," I nodded my head politely then took a long drink of the sweet, fruity liquid.

"So, what happens now?" I asked, setting the empty glass down, "That... Lois, said something about me being a gift?"
