"My ears are burning." Speak of the devil and he shall appear. Hangzhi, strode into the room with his golden robes fluttering. 

My spine straightened, unsure of how to act or behave in front of my last surviving mate.

"Hangzhi," Ren nodded, passing him a full glass of wine, which he took gratefully and took a heavy drink.

"Luna, nice of you to join us again," he nodded and sunk heavily into his chair, at the head of the table.

"Nice to be here again, I suppose," I raised my glass and took a much-needed sip. It was inferior to Theo's good stuff, but it still hit the spot so long System behaved. 

"So what is my Empress plotting now?" He asked after stuffing his face with our leftovers. 

I glanced at Ren, who seemed very relaxed, emitting a dominant aura. 

It did not take a genius to see the severe shift in power dynamics between this duo.

"World peace," she grinned, flashing her canines.
