"Luna."

I turned to see a tall handsome man, with long blonde hair and a wide smile. 

"Your highness," I curtseyed beyond my control. Was I dreaming?

"Pfft," he waved his hand, "I've told you, call me Ty when we're alone."

"Ty," I rolled my eyes, adjusting my lengthy skirt. It was a deep burgundy dress, thick and velvet to keep out the cold. 

Snow fell gently onto my auburn curls, which cascaded past my slightly exposed and flushed red, cleavage.

"What are you doing out here? Enzo has been looking all over the ball for you."

"And he can keep looking," I scoffed to turn and lean against the granite balcony rail, staring at the elaborately designed flower garden below. I felt a longing to just jump over the edge and escape. 

"What has he done this time? Cut him some slack, father has been extra hard on him lately." Ty's hands gripped the tops of my arms, rubbing them up and down to warm me up.
