So far so good need to read a little bit more to get a real feel for it but I like it so far

overall interesting idea. I wonder why you bury the inciting incident of waking up with a dager in his chest at the end of the chapter and open with the weather and his fashionable outfit. I can truly say reading about the moment he wakes up in a frenzied panic is a scene that holds my attention more. I know because if I was at a party and a friend said, " I'm so glad it's sunny today, finally the fierce storms are over. hey, cute blouse and boots" verses another friend says." Someone crept onto my room last night and stabbed me!" I'm sure you know which conversation instantly creates emotion and rivets me to the speaker's next words. As always, it's your story and just my opinion as a reader and lover of stories
