From under the staircase, William watched both his father and the security guard leave his mother's office. "You don't work here, you liar," William quietly mumbled as he stared daggers at the man walking closely behind his father.

Suddenly, the security guard looked his way and he quickly retreated behind the stairs, clenching his eyes shut. Hearing the door close, he released a breath of relief before opening his eyes, but to his fright, there was a large ant on his nose.
