"That's a lot, Alex. Impossible! Looks like you have bought an entire mall," said Xavier with his head back toward those gifts, giving silent claps.
Isabella turned her baffled gaze to the man who didn't think he had done anything wrong. He was unbothered by their hyperbole. Because these were the things Isabella wanted and he had brought a lot so that she didn't need to go to the store.
"What?" Alexander asked, feeling Bella's motionless gaze on him. Those lovely eyes were questioning him without saying anything. He basically didn't want to answer, but couldn't stop himself from turning to Isabella.
"What am I going to do with so many of these things?" Isabella's astonished mouth parted and asked. Her blushed face brought a slight allure to her that radiated around that table. Alexander felt angry, thinking that everyone can see this side of her when it belonged to him solely.
He disliked it. Even his vain showed anger as they popped up with his thought. Not take too long for a hand to reach Isabella's waist and pulled her close with her chair.
"I don't want you to be bothered with these things anymore. Although I did not know which one you preferred so I bought a lot of options," said Alexander, looking at her face. Isabella was blushing profusely and had no idea how and which way she could take control of her heart as they were drumming like crazy.
"But they will expire. I can't use all of them in their manufactured time, because there is a lot," mumbled Bella and looked with her side eyes, feeling everyone's eyes on her, her soul mortified.
"Haha!" Alex laughed, shocking everyone. Their thoughts were, is this devil actually laughing?
"It's okay," Alexander caressed her cheeks and said. He became a fool. Why didn't he think about it earlier?
"Can I take the help of one of your men?" Isabella asked, after doing some calculations. For that, the help of a man was needed. She could not ask Alexander, so she was sure that Alexander would not stop her from taking the help of one of his men.
Alexander knitted his brows, as he didn't like her words. Not even he will allow her to take another man.
"Why do you need a man?" Asked Alexander in a serious voice.
Bella held her mouth quiet for a few seconds as she pondered about Alexander's mood, which spun upside down for no reason. The next second, she got the note of why he flared up suddenly. Because he got her words wrong. And earlier he had told her not to look at another man. Is he jealous? Bella thought.
"I want to go somewhere with this stuff. I mean, for now, it's too much. If you don't have any problem then I-I," said Bella, giving an adorable look, which allured Alexander every time.
"I can go," Xavier spoke out of blue, drawing Bella's attention and Alexander's furious eyes. He told everyone that he could take care of his woman and that others were not welcome in his life. He did not tolerate a single outsider's nose in his life. Still, Lucifer was crossing the border every single time.
"I haven't permitted you. Happy now," replied Alexander harshly as Xavier's words went straight into his mind, and he couldn't control himself.
"You are jealous, Alex. Bella needs help and I'm offering as a friend. You are busy, so it's alright for me to give her company," Xavier replied straightforwardly.
"No, I don't want anyone. I am going to an orphanage house. I just need one person to carry things," Isabella said and stopped the two men from arguing.
Isabella didn't want to draw attention to taking these two men with her. Because Alexander was a well-known figure, so maybe Xavier too, because he was related to Alexander. If a reporter caught her with them. There will be a high probability that she will be in the newspaper the next morning.
"Can I take the butler?" Isabella said, turning her head toward Alexander, who was still looking at Xavier, a silent war was still going on between them.
"Yes," Alexander replied, taking his head to Bella and releasing the tension from his body so that he would not scare Bella. To date, he had never tried to contain himself as much as he was doing in front of Bella. It was surprising to him, yet it felt good to him.
Bella was struck dumb with her parted mouth, which opened but forgot to close because she didn't believe that the answer from Alexander came so instantaneously and it was positive.
"Thank you," Bella chirped and hugged him. Joseph, who had been silent for a long time and was watching everything, got up from the table because he couldn't take it anymore. Since when has Satan been so compromising in front of humans? He didn't even know if he didn't see all this crap today.
"Are you going somewhere today?" Bella continued. It was like a doting wife asking her husband about his routine.
"Yes, but I will be home early. If you have any problem, call me directly and come home on time," Alexander told her with a smile. But he hadn't forgotten one thing, how Joseph just got up from the table. He had not taken his permission.
Bella nodded happily and went to the room after ordering the butler to grab a few things from those boxes. She had even planned to buy a few clothes on her way to the orphanage.
"Don't climb on my head, Xavier. you are making me mad, for what? On Bael's order!" Alexander spoke out as Bella left the table. The fork in his hand was bent by his force as he asked with his eyes dripping with anger.
"Heh! Do you know how different you are behaving? This is not your first time having a girl around you. Then why are you so jealous and mad? Just because I talk to her," Xavier further agitated with his sharp words. He also needed fun, and he wanted to corner Satan by any means to uncover the things he had long sought.
