"I don't think they can score a goal," Hailey told Bella, watching the game. They were players, so their brains and eyes were sharp to notice the primary things. On the other hand, Westwood players got frustrated over the game.
They failed to control their patience, which led them to make fouls. Westwood captain Rosanna finally took the ball. She headed towards the goal while her striker, Martha, followed her as she was about to take charge.
St. Petersen created trouble again, circling Rosanna as they battled to get the ball. When one of St. Peterson's players tipped herself to fall on Rosanna. However, Rosanna had already thought of the outcome, so she passed the ball to Martha before it could happen.
Martha took possession of the ball and headed towards the goal, cheering everyone up. They shouted and elate as they saw the light come back into the game. They still had a chance, but they didn't know what was waiting for them.
"Come on, Martha," Isabella shouted with clapping. Tension turned into joy. Her empty stomach proved her excitement.
Martha came to the goal area where she was going to shoot the ball. As she raised her legs to kick, she fell forward and vomited blood.
"O my God," gasps echoed in the arena. Martha lay motionless after fainting. The referees and players rushed to her.
Immediately on a stretcher, Martha was carried away from the arena while everyone was torn to pieces. They closed their eyes and blew depressed sighs. Now they contemplated if they could watch the rest of the game because the game was out of their hand.
"Bella," Hailey called Isabella, but she wasn't standing behind her. She left.
Bella came to the girl's dress and put on her jersey and shoes. Everything was ready for Bella, beforehand, which was suspicious, but Bella ignored the situation. Her mind was in the game.
As she left the room, Alexy and her group came behind the wall.
"Wow, Alexy. You are brilliant. She got caught in our trap," a girl from the group said, and Alexy laughed in joy.
"Yes, because the plan is made by the genius, Alexy. By the way, I was a little uncertain whether she would play, but she did. So did our plan taste success," Alexy spoke with a pleasing face. Her voice was dancing. She couldn't contain her excitement. It was blossoming.
"Let's see how our plan pleases us," said another girl, tapping Alexy's shoulder.
"Yes, grab the popcorn and Coke," ordered Alexy with a smile and headed to the arena.
Another player came on the field in place of Martha while the coach was explaining some things he saw in the game.
St. Peterson's players were quiet, but Peterson's students were not. They booed Westwood. Their red jersey goring Westwood's eyes while they sat with their head down.
"Do you get it?" said the coach to the new player when another familiar voice startled the coach and the team.
"Isabella." The coach could not believe that his favorite player had arrived when he had given up hope of her coming.
"I want to play, but you know I am unfit," Isabella said to her coach. Because she knew with her arrival, there was a lot of hope that had returned to the coach's heart. So, the disappointment might be there if they lose the game.
"I know. Just give your best," Isabella heard her coach as he gave her best wishes, thumping her back and the second half of the game had started.
Rosanna smiled at Bella, but there was another girl who didn't forget to smile, Elizabeth. She was waiting for Isabella the last time she lost to her and vowed to take revenge in another game.
Although she did a few things to bring Bella on the field and it's worth it.
St Peterson followed the same strategy and this time, Westwood did not give them the pleasure of ruling himself. The ball was with Westwood and they passed the ball to a player too close without making their move quick and legible.
Elizabeth, on the other hand, was waiting for Bella to do something that would injure her for the rest of her life.
As the ball was getting closer, the next second, Bella started running. Elizabeth quickly went to Bella's side because she knew Bella would be there to carry the ball and would not let her do it.
It was as if the game had changed into a war field.
While running, Bella felt something poking her left foot, but she was not in a phase to pay attention to that thing. So, she ignored it for the time being while Rosanna was approaching her.
Everyone on the field knew it would be Bella to take the ball off Rosanna and score a goal. Because of this, everyone took their positions near Isabella. However, Rosanna gave her middle finger to all of them and passed the ball to the other player, who was a little slower, and who had deceived everyone.
And as the ball shoot, Westwood scored a goal. Now both teams are 1-1. The time was running. It was the last few minutes, and both teams needed one more goal to win the match.
