Underestimating each other feelings

★★★★

The way out of the cemetery was very peaceful, but this peace would turn to horror, Isabella had no idea. Isabella was happy she can see the narrow path. With it, she can reach the main road and she could hail a taxi home.

She was quite excited and was about to leave her grip on Alexander's arm when the man twisted her body with a twirl and made her bump against the tree while blocking her with his both arms.

"Enough to take the opportunity," said a hoarse voice angrily. His purple eyes were gleaming with anger and a churn was taking place inside Bella.

"Why you are angry?" Bella whispered. The hovering figure was so large and tall that she couldn't see anything around her.

"So you don't know or you are pretending to be innocent," Alexander's roaring voice further frightened the woman.

"I don't know," replied Bella and she was really confused about what she had done to fuel this anger inside him.

"Okay. I want you to sign the contract," said Alexander with grit. Only he knew how upset he was feeling at the moment, and he too was feeling overwhelmed by certain emotions.

That's why he was looking for a conclusion.

"Why are you forcing me to sign?" Isabella's mind was blown and she couldn't think why there was so much pressure to sign the contract.

"I want you to be with me," Alexander replied curtly.

"Really need a contract to be with you?" Isabella asked, and she was truly eager to know what kind of contract he was talking about. She had never heard this type of weird thing.

"Yes, I hate when women cling to me after they are well informed by me. I don't know love and I never give hope to anyone being with them forever. Hence, the contract is needed. I don't like insulting women and hate when they pestered me. That's why I ask them to sign," Alexander spoke and witnessed a changing ripple in those hazel eyes.

"Then don't be with a girl if you don't know love," Isabella's voice turned heavy as if she hated his words then resumed, "A girl is not a toy."

"When they are willing to sacrifice themselves for me, then what do you think what should I do?" Alexander didn't softer either. He also loathed the type of person who used this tone.

"You are narcissistic who thinks everyone wants to be with you. And are you the king who can do anything to anyone?" Isabella pushed him hard as she completed her words. She forgot who this man was and what was his actual character, but now she again remembered everything. He is an awful man.

"I ask you to be with me and you will willingly," Alexander said with a dominating voice. He didn't even care about Bella's words. For him, the only matter was to sort out the thing he was troubled by.

"Fuck you, man. No way. Never. And I have a boyfriend who is a gentleman," Isabella retorted, this time pushing him away successfully.

Isabella's face turned red in outrage, her veins are popping as they throbbed with her every breath. She couldn't believe this type of man existed in this world. Love can be turned into hate if anyone stayed with this man.

Isabella did not stop there for a second and left without looking at the man who had disappeared before Isabella could finish the path.

"This is the last time I've talked to him. Next time won't be," Isabella spoke to herself and hailed a cab.

"Welcome, Angela. It is good to see one more fellow friend," the green-eyed devil chuckled and welcomed, seeing the woman walk through the door.

"I am also amazed to see you here, though I've already heard I didn't believe that you'd come here looking for that thing," Angela smirked as she spoke.

"What are you talking about? I am on a vacation. I am not searching for anything." Lucifer rolled his eyes at the woman as he answered her peculiar question.

"Stop playing shit around me. If you are thinking of striking Alexander with that thing, I'm warning you," Angela glared at the green-eyed devil and she knew what took him here.

"I can't believe you are still defending that man who never cared about you. Alexander is a man who never cares about anything. If you hate me, then I think you should have hated him more, especially after he thrashed you one time," Lucifer said with a disbelieving voice. Not only one, but every demon and demoness is in love with that man.

"Because…" Angela couldn't complete what she was about to say, but it didn't mean the devil did not know.

"Love… Haha… Which human does?" Lucifer laughed out loud, giving a thumbs up to the woman.

"Where is he?" His question came after a couple of mocking laughs.

"Find yourself," Angela climbed the stairs after answering him, but the next sentence from Lucifer stopped her steps on the stairs, "My house is not a guest house for demons and demoness. You are here for your love, so ask him for shelter."

"Don't worry. I'll be out in a few days. Some work needs to be done," Angela replied and moved on.

"Why not with him? You are his faithful servant," Lucifer's orotund voice angered the demoness, but she did not show her anger. She knew Lucifer was doing this only to make her angry and to lose control of herself which would lead her to use her power, which was forbidden here.

She turned back and looked at the devil and requested, "I will leave as soon as possible, please."

"What are you doing, Satan? Even your army has followed you?" Murmured Lucifer.

It was afternoon when Isabella reached her home. To her surprise, she was welcomed by her father, because everyday her father came home after six.

"Pops, you haven't gone to work," asked Isabella, placing the house key on the corner of the little table by the door.

"Welcome, my child. Yes, I take a day off to clean your room and I need a nap too," said Bernard and poured two glasses of water for the two of them.

"Good decision," said Bella and kissed her father on the cheek, and then went on toward the bedroom. Then Bernard mentioned something that Bella didn't think the matter would reach this point: "I've got a letter from your college. I can't believe you're thinking of playing again. I am very proud of you."

Bella stopped and turned with confused eyes, "I didn't understand, dad."

"Stop being dramatic. You've decided to play football this year. And I got an invitation letter. I am so happy," Bernard's glad voice answered and brought out the letter for Bella to read.

Bella was astonished beyond. They didn't even consult with her, but already sent a letter to her father. Are they kidding?

Suddenly there was the doorbell rang, and Bernard went on to open the door. However, Bella was standing frozen with that letter on the same spot.

"You," the first word left Bernard's mouth accompanied by an annoyed expression, seeing that person.

"I am not here for you. Move away," the person annoyingly said.

"Then why are you here?" Bernard questioned, moving away from the door to allow the person to enter.

"Bella called me," the person answered and sat comfortably on a chair.

Bernard shut the door and turned back when he saw Merry was sitting, but his daughter wasn't there.

"Where is Bella?" Bernard questioned.

"Maybe she went upstairs to get ready. As we are about to leave. Ah! girl's night," said Merry with delight.

"Girls! Haha," Bernard laughed and mocked Merry because she said 'Girls', as the word long ago went out of her league.
