Ok, so Noah finally admits what we all knew…he is in love with Eve! He just feels the big responsibility that comes with being a Duke that he feels he needs to fulfill no matter the cost! So he intends to marry her off to another…anyone other than Vincent Moriarty! So, let us see what Vincent has to say about Noah dropping Eve off at work! I think I remember him asking her not to have Noah drop her off again! He was worried about reputation! Also, let us see what lies Marceline will come up with when she realizes Noah took Eve to work! As for the dress for the soirée, I was certain Eve would go to Ms. Russo’s to borrow one! I did not think she would go in a dress she owned! I am sure she will still look beautiful but I wanted her to be drop-dead gorgeous again! Maybe I will be surprised! Ash, this was so good! I was so happy to hear a confession of love from Noah! I wonder if he will ever get jealous enough and act on his feelings! Also, when will we see Vincent and Eve act on their budding feelings? I am so anxious to see Vincent lose his mind over Eve! I am getting a Jerome Wells from the LDG series vibe from Noah. Just a thought, but I really hope he is a good guy. Another thought I had before with Noah was, could his dad be Eves mom's killer? All I remember about the killer was he was high society, had a wife and kids. I may go back and reread the beginning lol Thanks for another great chapter Ash!! Can't wait for the next update!!! ❤️❤️

I really dint understand noah what is his feeling for eve what will he do when he will know she is a mermaid. what will he do when she will get someone she love (as in vincent) how will they relationship be in the future so many question without any answer that is really shining me headache anyway thank you very much ash for the update it was a wonderful chapter now vincent and marceline is going to be so jealous when they will see with whom eve came to her work

Noah is a nice and perhaps filial guy. His duties are ahead of love I suppose. He may also know that Eve would be subject to much scrutiny if he puts her in the limelight. However, he already put that marker on her whether he realizes or not.

Noah will keep on holding himself back until Vince will steal her away, regret will be the only thing that will remain then. Even if he confesses now I doubt that it would bring any changes. I am worried about how Eve is gonna get back home in the evening. Maybe Vince's carriage might drop her off and pick her up for the Soiree. Now now what's gonna transpire during the Soiree? With Vince accompanying her, she will be safe.

It’s sad Noah can’tfollow his heart because of family and status obligations. Noah isn't a bad person but he definitely gonna get jelly once he serves Eve being with Vincent 😝😝. But I know Eve must be torn because she wants to fall in love but fears for her life🥺🥺. She deserves all the love in the world!!
