Those were heartfelt heart wrenching chapters in all, Ash; unprecedented. That was too much unbearable for our young Vincent; that indescribable pain and agony seeing the tragic death of his mother infront of him. ššš The way he is now as a grown up man with his cold-blooded nature is quite understandable for me bc of the trauma it brought to him. Kudos to you, dear Ash; you've delivered Vincent's backstory with so much magnitude and excellence šššššš

Even though I knew his mother was going to die, even though I didnāt want to read the sadness and torture of these chapters, even though I just wanted to get past all of Vinceās heartbreak, I couldnāt skip a word. I felt Vinceās emotions and understood how he felt toward his captorsā¦especially Hellion. I didnāt need to use my imagination. The description Ash put forth of the horrible event was as clear as watching a movie. It doesnāt take talent to have an imagination. It takes talent to take your imagination and put it into words that everyone can feel, see, and hear. Ash has that talent! Thank you for sharing your talent with us! ā„ļøā„ļøā„ļø
Ash, my goodness! Very well written! I am left in awe again! These 4 chapters brought me anger, anxiety, panic, sadness, and heartbreak! They moved me to the point of jumping around and trying to get away from the bad guys to crying my eyes out! Thank you Ash! Amazing as usual! Reading how Vincent took care of his mother, combed her hair with his fingers, made her dress proper, made her comfortable and layed his head on her chest just about broke me! I was balling my eyes out! That was such a sweet scene between a son and his mother! It not only warmed my heart, it broken it! Hearing how Vincent killed Hellion and then let out a earth shattering yell afterward was heartbreaking as well! It speaks to the amount of pain Vincent was in when he killed him! I am curious if this Hellion had another partner who was not present who is starting this feud again? I know it says he was human so I know he cannot still be alive by chance. Curious if that may be the same person Eve is looking for? Thank you so much for the updates today Ash! They were Amazing as always! You Rock Girl!
I love how this author puts her heart into the story. like the Gothic scene was so well written . I could feel my mlheart tremble and break apart for both Cathy and Vince. I felt tears stream down my face. I feel the loss. Cathy was right. No one is to be blamed. Not her, not Vince and even not Marceline. It was just so unfortunate.
