- Enemies Inbound

Enemies inbound.

Hearing those two words, everyone inside of the mining equipment storage room immediately made their way to either the windows or outside, so that they could see the number of Bloody Dawn that were coming in their direction.

"There's nothing there," Claire said in a confused tone. "They had to be coming in from the direction of the shuttle, but there's nothing coming in from there. Could the pilot have been wrong?"

"That's not it," Kyle responded. "Look up, to the sky."

Coming in from the direction that they had come to the building, from the South of the mining base, was a huge swarm of things that flew through the sky. There were a large number of them, so many that the light of the late afternoon was getting blotted out, almost as if night was falling over the continent earlier than it should have.

"What are they?" Emmy asked. "I don't think I've ever seen anything like them before."
