Despite it being a small missile the damage that it had done to the ship was substantial, as was evidential when Gus and the Obera left the transport ship.

Shrapnel had been thrown out of the ship in the small amount of time between the missile connecting and the ship plugging the gap, and Gus could see it floating outside through the ship.

While the outside of the ship looked like some kind of obscure sign of something disastrous having happened, the inside looked like it was in the centre of a disaster that was happening at that moment.

Shrapnel laid scattered on the floor and embedded into the walls and machinery, with bodies thrown aside as victims of the missile's attack. Flames rose from bits of machinery and liquids dripped from damaged oil tanks.
