With the fight finished, Gus felt all of the strength rush out of his body and he immediately dropped to his knees. The last thing he had needed was to fight a battle for his life as soon as he woke up, especially considering the condition he had woken in. His body ached all over, and his lungs felt like he had inhaled sharp, rusty nails with every breath that he took.
