DISGRACED BITCHY MODEL

Neither Vilian nor Daria could believe what tricks were the devil playing.

"What tricks are you playing again, Mr. Astrel?"

"Shh, darling," Astrel placed his index finger on her pink lips, "Aren't we a couple here, my dear? No Misters or Misses between couples. Isn't that mentioned in your so-called book collection, or do you wish I teach you how it is?" He winked and whispered back as he twirled a strand of her golden hair that rested beautifully over her shoulder. Vilian glanced at his fingers and tugged her hair strand away from his clutches, sending glares at her.

"You're kidding me, aren't you?" Vilian questioned louder enough to fall on others' ears.

"Yes Aster, isn't this a joke?" she heard Daria joining in their conversation and glanced back at her. Daria glared at Vilian before she glanced back at Astrel, exceptionally, waiting for him to say it was a joke he cracked. But she knew it was a clear no. For this was Astrel and not some random guy. The frosty would never waste his time cracking jokes. Never in a million times did she think she would mind him not joking and now she did.

"Do I look like a stand-up comedian, Daria? From now onwards our contract's disclosed just like we agreed the very first day you accepted it," Whispers and murmurs erupted all around the hall. Daria's face turned pale similar to a white sheet.

"B-but, Aster-"

"Another word, and you'd be falling off the entertainment world. Neither I nor my company needs a cheap backbiting player like you," Daria felt tongue-tied. None knew what was happening except for Gary, she, and some other models who worked behind, but people still proceeded in filming the scene live. After all, wasn't the world they live in, waiting for a downfall of a celebrity like her? She would be the laughing stock very soon, and they'd find every possible way to ruin her life.

"Woah, she ain't no longer the model of WWI?" exclaimed one of them amongst the crowd.

"Poor thing..." pitied another.

"Phew! Guess there's no more of a bitchy celebrity on our site."

"Serves her right. I would not mind even if she were to go down to the street. Though, I doubt she'd still let go of that bitchy attitude of hers," A chorus of laughter erupted around the person who remarked.

The gossip and remarks turned Daria's whole body paler and paler as more people started to mock her. No longer bearing the mocks and the ridicule meant for her, she dashed out of the hall, trying hard not to wail and well down the tears that brimmed in her eyes. Her manager ran behind her as she sent glares toward the crowd who laughed at her boss.

She felt bad for Daria. Though she didn't know what had conspired between her boss and the frosty, far enough to fire her. The company was the sole reason for a person like Daria to reach the circle of A-class models. They were well aware that the very downfall would be a big breakdown for both, Daria and her manager.

Now that she was gone, the attention was turned totally on Vilian who was totally confused as to what had happened, "Guys, who do you think might that be?" the question aroused in everyone's mind and slipped their tongue.

"Never seen her before, but don't you think she's kinda cute?" a man told so, as he gazed at Vilian and shifted his gaze up next to her. Chills ran down his spine as soon as he shifted his gaze at his boss, who look nothing less than a devil. The man averted his gaze immediately as he got the sign. He better not mess with him or his fate would be nothing less than what had happened to the bitchy model, thought the man as he bowed his head, trembling in fear.

"You could have dealt it another way," muttered Vilian, feeling a bit bad.

"How so, love?" he emphasized the latter as he tucked a little strand behind her ear. Vilian closed her eyes, trying hard to suppress her anger but seems like the devil was trying hard to tick her patience off.

"Enough of this drama. Care to explain the stunt you pulled earlier?" she questioned with a glaring gaze.

"Stunt? What stunt are you talking about?"

"Off, Mis- Astrel," sighed Vilian as she pulled her hands away and started to walk away toward the buffet.

"Amusing," he said as he shook his head, a smirk tugging his lips, "Now, where's the person I've been looking for...?" he murmured as he skimmed through the crowd and stopped at a far corner, where a man stood right in front of the large floor to ceiling window gazing out through it as he spoke to someone over the phone. A low chuckle escaped his lips as he inserted his hands into his pocket and headed there.

All the while, Vilian cursed the man as she grabbed a plate and took a piece of the purplish blue cake. It looked eye-catching and mouthwatering thought Vilian as she placed it on the plate, "Hope it tastes just the way it looks."

"Bon appetite!" she heard someone greet her out of nowhere, startling her and she gasped loudly. The plate on her hand nearly slipped off her clutch if it weren't for the second hand.

"Oh my! I didn't mean to startle you. My apologies."

"No, that's-," Vilian glanced to her side and her eyes widened. It was the same man who came and asked for Astrel. The person to whom Astrel lied that they were a couple.

"I'm sorry, for the little mess, dear," he asked for an apology once again and pointed down. She glanced now only to let a low gasp, "Let me hold onto it." he initiated to take hold of the plate.

"That's fine. I'll handle it," she said as she placed the plate on the table and glanced down at the little stain on her dress. As she glanced at the table for any visible tissue available, a black handkerchief came into her view. She glanced back at the man lending it.

Before Vilian could refuse it, the man insisted her she grab it, "Use mine," Vilian opened her mouth but he interjected, "Please, I insist," he said to her as he grabbed her hand softly and she placed the black handkerchief on her palm. A piece that perfectly matched the man's black suit. Golden line embroidered on its border. She felt bad to ruin the little beauty. After all, it wasn't entirely his fault. She was just too engrossed in what would tame her monstrous tummy that she had not been paying heed to her surroundings. Part of it was her fault too. Thought Vilian, as she accepted it with a low 'thank you' and wiped off the stain.

Unknown to her, Gary removed the cork off a small vial and poured a colorless liquid over her cake. As soon as he did so, he hid it under his jacket.

"I take it that you accepted my apology," said the man as he smiled charmingly. Vilian chuckled at his forwardness as she shook her head, "No? My, my, you broke my heart," he remarked cheesily, "Anyways, my name's Gary, and you are... Vilian Frost?"

"Gary? Gary as in Astrel's-" Gary could witness shock written all over her face as he nodded his head in agreement. He smiled at her cockily.
