Chapter 69 - Curse or blessing

Caelum looked at the pill that seemed to contain a vein that spread across its surface that emanated a thick energy around it. The grade was merely common yet the quality and effect was no better than a [ Low Earth pill ]. This all because a phenomenon occurred called Pill vein. 

For starters, Pills come in many different forms including Medicinal Pills, Divine Soul Pills, Tempering Pills, and etc. Their potency and efficacy depends on the grade of herbs used to refine them, their purity, and their grade. Usually, all pills will eventually lose their efficacy over time. However, this is not the case when a Pill is formed with Pill Veins. 

Pill Veins will allow a pill to maintain its efficacy and potency indefinitely. A higher level than Pill Veins is Pill Clouds, which will not only tremendously increase the potency and efficacy of a pill, but allow it to actually strengthen over time by constantly absorbing the World Energy in the environment. 

World Energy is the fundamental limit of energy within the world. World Energy

Also known as World's Spiritual Energy, this is the purest form of energy residing within the atmosphere of worlds that are suited for cultivation. 

Cultivators use World Energy to fill, refill, and temper their reserves of the various different types of Yuan Qi generated from their bodies. The amount of World Energy within a world is tied to the level of Martial Dao that the world allows one to achieve.

To put it simply, this is the blessing in which the world gives to a person when they advance and grow stronger. Though, it all depends on talent, bloodline, physique, etc. That could absorb World Energy .

Of course a [ World Energy ] is a lot different than World Energy simply because a [ World energy ] is made when a person creates an [ Inner world ] no matter how small. Regardless, Caelum finds the first pill to be an interesting and perfect first step. 

'Fundamentally, it's best to use different elements when creating pills.'

The first thing one needs to know is the 5 normal elements and the 2 higher elements The two higher elements are Yin and Yang. Yin is the element associated with dark, cold, or moon. Yang is the element associated with light, heat, or sun. These two elements on their own are quite powerful, and maybe dangerous if not taken care of properly.

When together, based on what the alchemist can do, the Yin and Yang can cancel each other out, and make a pill neutral, or help each other to become even stronger, and make a pill with highly volatile energy. One should always think twice if you have to deal with either of these elements in a pill, especially if they are together.

Caelum already had the [ True Ultimate Elemental Magic ] and normally it would have just been purely Mana but because the mana method of [ True magic ] allowed him to use the elements as though I was natural. 

There are 5 ways these elements can interact with each other. They can either 'Empower' the other element, 'Control' the other element, 'Overwhelm' the other element, 'Weaken' the other element, or 'Ruin' the other element.

Just like wood 'Empowers' fire by feeding it, water can 'Empower' wood to make it grow. Earth can 'Control' water by absorbing it. Metal can 'Ruin' fire by taking its heat away and de-energizing it.

All 5 elements do something to one of the other elements, in all of the 5 different categories. Knowing what does what, and which ones can be used is very important when making pills with higher harmony. 

'It's a lot harder when I don't have any spiritual sense yet.'

Caelum may have Mana sense and Ki sense but fundamentally they have a different way of being used. A spiritual sense or Divine sense could only be attained when one formulated their Sea of Consciousness. 

Creation of pills are akin to cultivating where one has control, understanding and Technique to advance further. He took out the pill and stored it for later before starting to create more pills. This time, Caelum exhibits his technique controlling the flame a lot better where the surrounding energy seems to be devoured by the cauldron refining the herbs removing any impurities. 

He did not let anything distract him remove his laid back expression into a serene one that contains a boundless wisdom. Caelum uses the proper way balancing the yin and yang bursting in light and darkness. 

Whoosh!!

The sound of explosive wind could be heard causing the [ Godly Grimoire] to experience a massive change where the Caelum gained more understanding about certain things and was enlightened by the experiences. It was then the energy in the surrounding vanished while at the middle of it all was a golden pill. 

'A High Earth Grade with pill vein and cloud huh? Not bad, this is enough for me to unlock the Gate of limits and evolve my human bloodline.'

Caelum held out the pills that had absorbed quite a lot of energy in the [ Godly Grimoire ]. The power pill was already otherworldly despite that the martial peak could be considered quite rare for a backwater place. 

The reason is the difference in laws and world where unlocking fairy tail verse, Martial peak had a more complex way of power and a lot stronger. For example, their wood would be stronger than steel compared to fairy tail because of how their energy works. 

He observed the pill and took a moment to appreciate it before pooping it into his mouth. Within a split second, Caelum started to circulate the energy that came from the pill releasing an abundance of pressure as something began to change. 

The [ Primal Genesis Ki ] react violently from upon the effect of the pills purifying the energy while nourishing his flesh further than before. Unlike other people who consume pills, Caelum absorbs 100% of the pill without wasting anything due to the [ Absolute Devourer Ammutseba ] who is able to consume and adapt to the effect. 

Crack.

His skin began to shed, changing his appearance, acquiring a completely different hair color that started from purplish from the top and blueish color below fusing into one. Caelum pupils had completely turned into a dragon having a reptile slit. His presence and power was now at the level where normal humans would bend to his will if he let his aura leak. 

Whoosh!

He stood up where he was closer to having breakthrough yet something blocked him and left Caelum disappointed feeling the effect of the pill was washed away from his evolution.

[ Transcendent Human change into Primarch. ]

Caelum found the title to be the same as Warhammer 40k with slight differences and put it aside. He created a clone of himself and found that his appearance had changed significantly, especially his hair and body frame. His flesh had grown bulker yet not enough to be an open body builder. He grew taller and more appealing. 

'Though, it's still a bit underwhelming that I didn't get to unlock my [ Gate of Limit ]. That aside, I should check up on Mereoleona before she traumatizes the soldier.'

Before he left, Caelum tried casting a few spells and found that it felt more natural than before. It went from 1 to 100,000 greater than before in terms of mastery and cast time along with the amount of expense. His Mana method had reached its peak and consider trying to find a way to change it into something completely different. 

He put aside his magic training and began to compress his newfound strength to find destroying the world by acting or even worse kill his lover by accident. Caelum took a while to solidify his energy to fully grasp the power creating a set of rune tattoo on his back as seal that reduce his power but once released would gain an explosive growth. 

Once everything was finished, Caelum went outside of the [ Godly Grimoire ] and tried to find Mereoleona. He sighed when he was greeted by the beaten up dragon while Mereoleona had few scratches in her face. 

"Hahaha come and fight! I thought dragons are creatures who love to contend with their strength!!"

She released her thick pressure having learned the dragon slayer magic from Caelum but had yet to gain dragon force or even turn into a dragon. Caelum had already revised to avoid the weakness of the dragon slayer magic. The problem was the magic lacked the mana methods to allow dragon slayer to control their magical energy while disconnecting them from turning back into their human form. 

Caelum noticed how the dragons were even frightened by Mereoleona and could only wryly smile, never expecting even a dragon would actually be afraid of the lioness. 

"Leona, you should calm down or you'll hurt our child."

"Brat you're here! I know what I'm doing and no need to worry about me or our child's well-being. I'm more concerned about being disappointed by these dragons."

"Then how about we take a spar. I recently grew stronger and this may be the perfect opportunity to grasp my strength."

"Oh, great! Let's do this!"

The two took the central attention with both dragon and humans watching as Caelum and Mereoleona took position. Everyone pondered how their fight would go when their emperor was the apex of strength. Caelum needed to be careful and started to use a different type of magic than his [ Silver Aura ]. 

He stared at Mereoleona who flared her energy using everything from Mana zone to Mana methods. Caelum saw this could help but wondered how strong would be mixing it with dragon force. He quickly isolated their space to avoid destroying the kingdom. 

She vanishes appearing before Caelum who merely countered by striking her fist. Mereoleona didn't stop and did consecutive strikes that he canceled out every single one. 

The spectator was speechless as the speed was faster than their eyes could see and found that Mereoleona was burning through the Ethernano while turning into her magic. It was the first time that they had seen such a method of controlling magical energy. 

"Hahaha why are you holding back!? Can you at least try?"

"No…I'm trying to grasp my strength, that's all."

Caelum's strike grew more precise and perfect that Mereoleona started to enjoy their fight even more. Soon enough, the other girls arrive to watch the fight making Irene jaw drop seeing Mereoleona fight.

"Would she be alright?"

"Yes, Lady Mereoleona is a powerful and tough woman. Not to mention, Caelum won't do anything to harm her." ( Noelle )

The battle rage on decimating the ground below them as the shockwave cause it to shatter yet the two remain in the air continuously trying to subdue the other until Caelum had used his own Mana zone that was a lot stronger than hers and dispelling Mereoleona's magic.

"I give. Never expected that you're the same brat I've found but I already knew the moment I saw you."

"I'm just built different. That aside, thanks for the spar it helped me a lot in understand my strength a bit more."

Few minutes later, Caelum fixed the training grounds while the humans and dragon alike started to view him more like a god now. The human is enticed by his [ Primarch ] race while the dragon was just enthralled by his might. He went to find Charlotte who had explored the city and decided to have a date along with the others.

A year passed by and Caelum had collected a massive amount of research along with information regarding where the dragon gods are rumored to be. At the current time, Caelum was busily researching magic about life and death and immediately felt something was about to happen.
