Changes in future

If Charles got Jessica kidnapped, then there must be something he knows about her already. Doesn't that mean he's in danger of dying?

That, Max, fears suddenly.

He doesn't want anything to happen to Jessica. He's ready to fight to the end of the world if it's to protect Jessica.

The tears that have suddenly overtaken Max were something new. He knew it wasn't the time to start getting scared because the battle had just started.

But Max had no choice. Fear was one thing he never wanted but it's one thing he's getting now.

That's fate for all. Though, he's still not ready to accept anything unless it's really the end.

If Jessica is supposed to kill Charles, then he would take it upon himself and do the task.
