I try to free myself again, " You idiot!" I screamed with pain.

He smiled so wickedly, "How do you like my new face? It's a pity I'm not taking the face of your lover, Max," he rolled his eyes and stood, " See you later sweetheart," he said and walked out.

What the heck! He just mentioned Max. So, that means he must have seen the future I saw. That was why he chose to look like Jake, instead of Max. Even if Max comes here, it would be of no help.
