"Arthur's parents want to meet Lea?" Zeline exclaimed, her eyes widening as she momentarily forgot about the pistachio chocolate she was about to bite. The sweet treat that had tempted her now seemed insignificant compared to this surprise.

Dariel nodded, his expression reflecting the complexity of the situation. He had just relayed the shocking news from the phone call he had received moments ago. The request coming from the honorable couple was impossible to refuse.

"What do you think?" he asked, probing Zeline's reaction. She now looked uncertain, her brows furrowed as if trying to decipher the hidden meaning behind the request.

"Are Arthur's parents kind? What if they're coming to judge Lea or, worse, to take her baby away?" Zeline asked, her mind struggling to stay positive.

Dariel gave a weary smile, gently running his large hand through Zeline's blonde hair. "They're not like you imagine, darling. His mother is as kind as a fairy godmother."
