Ariel Or Avril?.

"The only way we could get rid of this sick act we have going on, is to reject each other and end everything. No mating ceremony, no nothing at all!" Carter yelled, throwing his hands up in the air out of frustration.

"Yes, you are f**king right. I love your sister Ariel so please I'm begging you" Carter went down on his knees and Avril gasped and covered her mouth out of shock. "Let's end everything by rejecting each other".

Avril could feel her world collapse, it was as if her death was near, her mate was on his knees and was begging her to reject him just for him to be with her sister.

Who the hell does that?.

Everything now became clearer to Avril, she snatched away her sister's boyfriend by seducing him and now he was gifted as a mate to her, she was beginning to regret it.

If only Avril knew what goes around surely comes around, then she wouldn't have snatched Carter from Ariel and maybe then she would have found someone who would have loved her and that person may have been gifted as a mate to her.

She was starting to regret seducing Carter, and that may have been the reason the moon goddess gifted Carter as a mate to her. Avril felt her heart being shredded into pieces and then at that moment, those tears she has been holding in since. 

She just let them flow.

"I'm sorry Carter, but I'm never going to reject you" Those were the only words Avril managed to say to Carter before she broke down in tears and left the room to find somewhere more comfortable to cry.

Carter hurt her so bad, he was an asshole.

"F**k this!!" Carter threw a hard punch against the floor of the room and if the house wasn't strong enough. It would have come crashing down. 

He got up to his knees and calmed himself down before finding his way to Alpha Mills room who was the one that called him over and he decided to pay Avril a visit before going to answer Alpha Mills.

The visit was useless because he didn't got what he wanted. Avril was just as stubborn as Ariel.

Carter closed the door and went in search of Alpha Mills.

"I don't love Carter anymore if that is what is still pestering your mind" Ariel said and her father who was stomping his foot on the floor, moved his gaze from the door over to Ariel as he waited for Carter to arrive at his pack house patiently.

"You look really disturbed, it's as if you got something up on the top of your head and it is-" 

"Is it really hard for you to shut up for a second?" Alpha Mills arched a brow up questionly, and Ariel stopped talking, observing he was no longer playing with her.

That would be the fifth time he has told Ariel to shut up, but she doesn't listen. She talked too much and it was kind of distracting him as he kept on thinking about questions he would ask Carter when he arrived.

"Your wish is my command sir" Alpha Mills heard Ariel muttered again, right after he told her to shut up which got him angered, and he got up from the chair he sat on to shut her up himself when a knock on the door stopped him.

Ariel thanked her good gods and smiled, Carter must be the one knocking and he literally came at the right time and saved her from whatever her father was about to do to her now.

"You got lucky, Ariel. That knock on the door just saved you"

"It's not locked, you can come in" Alpha Mills went back to the chair and settled his butt on it. The door creaked open slowly and Carter revealed himself into the attic and closed it from behind as he got in.

The first person his eyes landed on was Ariel and he attempted rushing over to her side to free her from those chains on her legs, but he stopped when his nose caught the scent of someone else in the room.

His father in law, Alpha Mills.

Alpha Mills watched the way Carter attempted running over to Ariel's side, and he also observed the reason Carter stopped in his tracks and didn't tried freeing Ariel of the chains on her legs was because he was in the attic.

Ariel was quiet and watched both her father and Carter as they were staring at each other as if they were having a staring contest.

The room suddenly became filled with tension so in order to chase it away, Alpha Mills cleared his throat and spoke first, "Please do have a seat" He offered a seat to Carter and Carter thanked him as he sat on it.

"I didn't mean for you to see her being chained that way like an animal" Alpha Mills pointed to Ariel and she shot him a ferocious glare and would have bit that finger pointing to her face off, if it was a few inches close to her face.

"But this is the way I treat every member of my pack any time they tried messing up, especially the stubborn ones" Alpha Mills let out a creepy laugh as if what he said was funny and stared at Ariel who rolled her eyes at him, Carter joined Alpha mills in the laughter before he would suspect anything of him.

The whole pack house of the Mills pack was filled with tension right from the moment Carter stepped foot into it, starting from Avril's room and now he was in a room where the love of his life was chained like an animal and he couldn't do anything about it because his father was nearby.

The laughter died down and everywhere in the attic became absolutely quiet, Carter swallowed hard caused by the way Alpha mills was staring at him. It was as if he wanted to rip him apart into pieces.

He hasn't told Alpha mills about him wanting to reject his favorite daughter Avril and then go back to the useless one, Ariel but the way the huge man sitting in front of him and staring at him eyeball to eyeball sent shivers down his spine.

Ariel saw the nervous look on Carter's face and laughed, he hadn't seen anything yet. 

"I have something to ask you son" Alpha Mills pressed Carter's shoulder softly and Carter smiled trying hard to calm down the anxiety growing inside of him. "And I really need you to give me an honest answer" Carter gave Alpha Mills a nod for an answer.

Satisfied with the way Carter nodded his head positively to his questions, Alpha Mills then asked him, "Between my two daughters, Who do you love for real?".

Carter's gulped, it was more easier for him to tell Avril right in her face that he wanted to reject her than give answer to the question Alpha Mills shot at him now.

Ariel let out an evil grin, staring at both her father and Carter. She watched the way Carter's lips trembled just to answer a simple question.

The truth was about to get revealed right in front of Alpha Mills for his unsettled mind to be settled, Carter confused him as he didn't know who Carter loved anymore between his two daughters. So calling him over to ask him the questions himself just as Ariel told him to do was the best.

But the real question now, was who would Carter turn out to eventually pick?Would it turn out to be Ariel or Avril?.
