losing a pinky can easily weaken your physical strength by a great degree, especially for a swordsman like Shang, since the loss of a pinky finger can easily affect his grip strength. it would be better to lose a whole arm rather than both of his pinky fingers, at least he still has a functioning arm to swing his sword with.

i disagree an eye has a whole lotta more of a impact on a swordsman dealing with high speed encounters while a pinky does weaken grip but that can be trained quite easily a toe would put you of balance he could sacrifice a useless organ maby but not an eye would be a handicap but it happend.so it's fine
