CHAPTER#06(A) ARE THEY STRANGERS?

Cherry PARK POV

No, this is not possible, somebody is playing prank on us. I need to find him. Actually, we all need to find that person. Is it possible that someone from them is playing with us? Yes! It is, because no one else knows about it. I need to break the oath that we will never meet or talk to each other, because finding that person is necessary. I gulped down the pill & called everyone to meet at my farmhouse tonight.

AUTHOR'S POV

What the hell Cherry, Why have you called us here?" Niall said he was frustrated.

"Exactly we vowed not to meet each other again." Robert said.

"But we met & are in the same project, this is not a coincidence guys." Cherry said.

"Yeah! You are right, how come we all are together in one movie?" Robert questioned.

"You tell us, you met him first." Niall taunted.

"What do you mean, I told him everything, R you insane?" Robert shouted.

"Stop it both of you, Martha, you tell us, you were his assistant right, didn't you tell him?" Cherry inquired.

"R you mad! I am his assistant, not his girlfriend or wife, or if I would I would never tell this dirty secret of my past to him." Martha finally spoke.

"Nobody is pranking, right?" Cherry questioned again.

"We are not fools Cherry of playing about such things which lead to our destruction." Niall said he was annoyed.

"So somebody knows about it." Martha said she was gaining everybody's attention.

"How could that be possible? Nobody was there that night." Robert said while trying to think.

"I think there is a missing puzzle, we need to find out, ASAP." Niall said.

"Hello people, it looks like you have become very good friends in such a short time." Mr. Mcall said he was making an unexpected entry.

"Mr. Mcall, what are you doing here?" Cherry said he was suspicious.

"You guys are having a party behind my back. It kinda hurt, so I thought I'd invite myself. I did it right. He said with a suspiciously face.

"How you know we'll be here. This place is a secret hideout family, so how you...." Cherry said suspiciously

"I think these gifts lead me here!" Mr. Mcall said with a wide grin on his face.

FLASHBACK

"These are gifts for you people." Everybody got a small box as a token of their new journey & they wore it without knowing the consequences. Martha got a necklace, while Niall got cufflinks, Cherry got earrings & Robert got a watch, unknown to them the gifts had tracker in them...

END OF FLASHBACK

"How come these gifts will lead you here?" Martha said putting her hand on her necklace makes her totally confused.

Well, I think you still didn't recognise me, do you?" He questioned mischievously.

"Who are you?" Niall shouted. "Don't shout, your voice will not be able to hide your sins." Mr. Mcall said.

"Whoever you are tell us directly or we will call the police." Robert threatened

"Time will say who will call the police or who will not Mr. So call the writer!" Mr. Mcall challenged.

"Let me give you people some hints, my name is hidden in my name..." Mr. Mcall said in a naughty way.

"MARLIN... SCOTT" Martha said while shivering & everybody looked at her being shocked.

MARLIN SCOTT POV

    "Life is so cruel to me now if I die, I wouldn't be surprised."

How cruel life is, where these four are standing today, 20 years back I was in the same place.... 20 years! It's been 20 years since that dreadful night of my life which ruined me physically & emotionally. I don't have any beautiful memories of my high school days because of my shy & quiet nature. I don't like to mingle much with people. I know it's my bad habit, but it turned out to be the worst one. I became students' favorite bully creature, they teased me, taunted me about my appearance & I just listened & lost. I even polish their shoes & clear their leftovers. The people who often did this to me were these four, Cherry who made every boy dance on her tunes, Niall who was a cool boy of school "chubby", Martha, head cheerleader of the basketball team & Robert always the joker. They never leave a chance to bully me. I will be the only praying to end our high school soon that I don't need to see those faces.

At the graduation party I changed my look so that no one could recognize me & torture me. There I saw Niall drinking heavily & Cherry was trying to stop her from not drinking for a girl. Then from nowhere Robert gave them an idea which was both thrilling & risky... He said his driver dropped him here & went, so let's go somewhere in my car & enjoy our graduation. Martha first disagreed, saying that we are still underage for this, but Niall dismissed it because he was heartbroken in his view and took keys from Robert and started driving. I went towards them, which was my biggest mistake & stopped them doing such a stunt, but they didn't listen. Instead, they started scaring me while coming forward with the car. I shouted, cried but they didn't budge, they were laughing like mad people, but suddenly the car got out of control and was doomed... The blood was the only thing I could see with my blurry vision because I was hit powerfully by the car going under the cliff and what they did huh, they left, YEAH! They left...

I opened my eyes & realized that I was sleeping for 18 damn years! Yes, I was in a coma. The accident affected my brain so much that I slipped to a coma, not only this, but my half face got ruined & my dreams of being an Engineer got crushed in that accident. After wasting 18 years sleeping, I just got my life back, without any ambition or interest in living.

The doctors told me about a man who saved me that night & brought me to the hospital. He was taking care of me, from medicine to paying bills. I was shocked that humanity still exists?

"Hey" he said

"Hi", I replied.

"How are you feeling now?" He asked.

"Better than yesterday, just usual muscle pain." I replied.

"Great! Well, I think I should introduce myself. You don't know about me, but I know everything about you." He said

"Means?" I asked

"That day I saved you, and you are now brother to me. I found out about you and the culprits behind your accident." He explained.

"But how?" I asked because I couldn't understand anything until now.

"I am a detective & I was working on some case which led me towards you." He completed it.

"But why are you helping me?" I was still confused.

"The place where I found you on death bed, there I already lost my brother & I couldn't find his culprits till now. That's why I wanted to help you take your revenge as a brother." His eyes spoke the truth.

"Revenge?" I was shocked. "Are

you gonna leave them to have a happy life after ruining yours? Means the final decision will be yours." He said, "What should I do?" I asked.

"Huh" he said. "I will make sure those people will rot in jail." I said in determination. "For that you need to recover soon & we need to plan a lot, so now go & rest." He scolded.

"Okay, at least tell me your name so I can call you by?" I whined. He smiled sheepishly.

"DEREK PARKER".
