Chapter 131

Finally losing his patience, snapping at the continuous and endless questions Esecleus about his mother's whereabouts, the old man formed a wide grotesque grin on his face.

"Guess where your mother is!"

Hoarsely, he said. His tone was so rough, both hands gripping tightly on the small table he built.

It was as though Esecleus' actions and mind had regressed back to that of a child, weeping loudly and longing for his mother's touch.

"Hic, hic, I just want... my Mom."

"Your mother ain't coming back no more, son! Do you know why?"

Esecleus did not answer nor question why. He was just crying, tears falling down his food as he wiped off his face with both of his arms like a

bullied kid in the park.

"Do you know why?!" exclaimed, the old man, his spit splashing away from his mouth in utter annoyance.

Afraid, stuttering, and his voice shivering, Esecleus asked: "W-Why?"

"Hehe–I am glad you asked!"
