The Duke's Secret Sin

I have always been a fan of strong female lead and this story portrays one. Anna is a fighter even when life constantly tests her with the cruel reality of the terrifying world that she lives in. This book is a great read with some comedic punchlines in the darkest times as well. I love it! Kudos to the author.

Ok so I have read to chapter 10 and this is probably the most unique romance I've read in a long time thus far. I really appreciate the slow background build up as the events unfolded. I won't drop any spoilers but the car wreck scene was an excellent way to jumpstart the relationship! I also really enjoyed the ball.

I was hooked on this book by the end of chapter 1! This unique and terrifying world the author has created keeps you on the edge of your seat and the FL is strong and determined. I can’t wait to see how her story unfolds!

anna is such a strong lady, i love that she seems not the typical damsel in distress when she was captured. fighting her way to freedom with her own flare. the worldbuilding is insanely amazing i can't get enough of it! all in all a great read so far out ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The story is one of the most unique romance stories I have read.World building id done in an appreciative way as the events unfold making the story flow. I can't share any spoilers but I would recommend this novel. The grammar is well done and the characters are realistic.

The writing is exceptional. The author does a great job of describing scenes and environments. The pacing is also really well done, it's neither too fast nor too slow. Information about the world is given often and in good amounts. The reader never feels overwhelmed with exposition while receiving just enough information to continue reading. The MC is very well designed. From what I read, it also didn't feel like a standard, unrealistic romance. A very well written novel!

Rated this 5/5 because the way it is written is very engaging. You will be able to imagine each scene because of the descriptions and how the author did the storytelling. Each chapter is a cliffhanger. I love how the characters were portrayed. There are no out-of-character dialogues. The words are not too fancy and are easy to understand especially for readers who aren't well-versed in English. This will be a big hit if given a chance for more marketing/advertising. The actions of each scenes are intense and exciting, as well as the setting. It also have good cliffhangers that urges you to keep going. Those were just few things that I like in this story, but most of all is how it was written was like a melody to my imagination.

The author quickly transports us to a cruel and twisted world where humans are barely better than animals. We start with Anna, a strong FL that quickly gets in over her head. Even in a difficult situation she still maintains a strength in her character. I look forward to seeing this tale unfold and learn about the mysterious Duke, and his future with Anna.
