Ego Part 2

Pyreus Kril, the herald of Fire, was very depressed by the bad luck he has had these days.

He was almost killed by two women and a robot, and when he managed to escape and tried to recover his energy in a safe place, he ended up falling into the enemy base.

Ego the Living Planet… if it were a normal day, finding this place would be a good thing as his master could feed himself and calm his hunger.

But in his situation, where he hadn't regained his energy, he could only avoid being killed.

Pyreus Kril knew very well that Ego had knowledge of him and his master since as soon as he entered the planet, he was fiercely attacked.

If it wasn't for the cosmic barrier covering him, he would already be food for that strange Celestial.

The herald of Fire's face turned gloomy since this barrier won't last long and also, because he maintains the barrier, that's why he doesn't get his energy back.

The only thing he could do was contact his master to come help him.

While the herald of Fire was lost in thought, his Cosmic Awareness caught something from the outside, first he got very excited thinking that he was his master.

But after sensing the presences, his face turned ugly as he recognized who they were.

After all he would never forget the energy of the two crazy women who almost killed him.

"Damn, those women sure are persistent... but this can also help me to distract that guy and be able to escape" the herald murmured after calming down and thinking about the situation.

Ego the Living Planet, since his birth, has searched for a reason for his existence.

For eons, Ego studied the different races in the universe and came to the conclusion that they are very disappointing and so he left his seedlings on all these planets so that he could devour the entire universe.

Unfortunately it was not easy, since he needed the support of someone of his own race.

So Ego had many children in the universe, hoping that they will awaken his gene.

Unfortunately, each of them disappointed him and he had to make them «sleep».

Now his only hope was his son that he had on Earth.

Peter Quill.

But because of Yondu, his son is now somewhere in the universe and he has to send a part of himself to search for him, and so far no luck.

Not only that, but Ego ended up meeting a herald of his worst enemy.

Galactus.

The good thing was that he was able to capture him and it is only a matter of time before he kills him.

The surprising thing was that, after a day of the arrival of the herald, another group approached his body, it was a small spaceship.

The interesting thing about that was that Ego felt that something inside that spaceship was familiar to him and called him.

Originally Ego wanted to use dialogue to convince people inside the spaceship.

But seeing that they wanted to leave, Ego didn't hesitate and decided to catch them, even if it left a bad impression.

After all, if that spaceship left, it would take Ego a long time to find it again.

At first it was difficult to catch them, but then they stopped fighting and he drew it into his body (the planet).

The feeling grew stronger and stronger.

Ego got very excited as he had an idea of who could be in the spaceship.

With this he could carry out his plans.

Just when Ego had that thought, from the spaceship, Ego noticed movement.

"Quill, I'm leaving you in charge of the spaceship, try to prevent it from being destroyed" Gamora said to Star-Lord.

"Don't worry boss, this spaceship is part of our team, I'll take good care of it" Peter Quill replied with a smile as he headed for the controls.

Drax went to the weapons accompanied by Groot.

Gamora, Hela, and Captain Marvel exchange glances and nods as they leave the spaceship. Little Rocket, who was ignored, follows them closely as he doesn't want to miss out on the excitement.

"Hey, Rocket" Star-Lord said upon seeing the raccoon's actions.

The latter ignores him and quickly leaves.

Star-Lord shakes his head, helpless at his partner's audacity, but concentrates on his mission.

"Do it Drax!" with Quill's prompting, Drax activated the spaceship's weapons and fired at the earthen pillars that had imprisoned it.

The energy bullets destroyed the pillars, freeing the spaceship and Star-Lord quickly moved it away, to avoid being caught again.

Ego was shocked and quickly wanted to capture it using earth whips but Hela, Gamora, Captain and Rocket destroyed them.

This angered Ego as the spaceship began to move away and the familiar feeling with it.

But Ego calmed down when he saw that the spaceship was left floating several kilometers away with no intention of leaving.

Ego's attacks stopped but Gamora, Hela, Captain and Rocket did not trust, as in front of them appeared a middle-aged man who was formed from the energy that came out of the planet.

He was the father of Peter Quill.

Ego!

"So you use that body to hide your true identity" Hela said coldly, looking at the old man who for some reason reminded her of Odin, and she already wanted to hit him.

"Hoh! I didn't expect anyone in your group to know me, but sensing your divinity, you must be Odin's daughter" Ego commented with a bit of surprise but quickly calmed down.

"Don't mention that old man!" Hela replied coldly.

"Why do you attack us? I don't remember that we offended you" Captain Marvel asked seriously.

"Simple, you guys know too much. Also, there is something important to me on your spaceship… if you hand it over to me, I can consider letting you go" Ego answered with a sinister smile.

The three women and the raccoon no longer hesitated and decided to beat up that bastard.
