The Inheritors Part 13

Natasha looked at the three Inheritors who were imprisoned and wearing collars that suppressed their powers, and who were being taken to the quinjet.

She had to get answers from these guys and she already knew where to take them.

Fortunately, the collars sure are working.

These were the new SHIELD items that were provided by Genosha.

More specifically, they were Riri's creations to not only seal superhuman abilities, but also magical beings.

Even the Inheritors themselves were amazed at this technology.

But they were helpless and although they could kill themselves to escape, it will affect their mind in their new body unless they have food nearby.

"Now what do we do with these guys?" Spider-Man AU asked curiously.

"For the time being, we will take these beings to obtain information" Natasha answered as she pulled out her cell phone.

Although Spider-Man AU is confused, he didn't ask any more when he saw Natasha making a call.

"[What is it, Romanoff?]" the person on the other line asked as Natasha's call connected.

"Hey Fury, I came to help my protégés, and I met beings from another universe. I plan to take them to Genosha to get more information, what do you think?" Natasha said calmly as she informed him.

"[That's fine, they're more capable of getting information, but I want a full report]" Fury replied.

"It's fine, I'll do it, see you" Natasha said, hanging up after Fury also said goodbye.

"Has our course already been decided?" Captain America asked.

The others are also curious.

"Yes. Barbara, take us to Genosha" Natasha answered and informed the new destination.

Barbara nodded, and the quinjet took off for Genosha.

In the Quinjet

Spider-Man AU sat up as he heaved a sigh of relief.

This day had been very stressful for him.

Ever since he met that Spider Woman and came to this Earth, he understood how weak he was and how much he still had to learn.

"Don't think about it too much. Sometimes we always find ourselves helpless, but you should always know that you are not alone and you can seek help, our power comes with responsibilities but we should not always carry it alone" Spider-Man said feeling that his self from another Earth was depressed.

"I know, but where I come from there aren't as many heroes as there are in this world and the few that exist aren't much loved" Spider-Man AU said, remembering the heroes of his Earth.

"In your universe there are no Avengers?" Captain America asked curiously.

"So that's what your group is called... No, on my Earth the only group of heroes that exists is called the Defenders, they work together with the United States government" Spider-Man AU answered.

Captain America nods his head a bit amazed at that group since he could be said to be the same as them, the only difference is that they are not tied to a country.

"Then you would be better off working with them" Ghost-Spider advised.

"It's not that simple, that group doesn't keep secret identities and to join you have to give all your information, besides we don't get along, since they consider us criminals and if they have a chance, they would capture us" Spider-Man AU replied shaking his head.

"It seems your universe isn't kind to heroes" Hawkeye added as he let out a sigh.

The others can only be silent.

They know that he had difficulties but they cannot do anything and can only concentrate on the current situation.

"But changing the subject, what place is Genosha, is it a secret organization?" Spider-Man AU asked curiously, stopping to think about his problems.

"It's not an organization, it's a country where the majority of the population is Mutant" Spider-Man answered.

"Mutant?" Spider-Man AU asked, confused with that term.

"Spider, explain things well" Ghost-Spider said as she smacked Spider-Man on the head.

"Ouch! Don't hit me, but you're right. Mutants are people with abilities and Genosha is their country, which is ruled by Alex Wayne, who is someone very influential and powerful, and who is also my teacher's boyfriend" Spider-Man said explaining clearly since he understood that Mutants do not exist in his counterpart's Earth.

"Ohh! That's impressive" Spider-Man AU said as he was surprised that there was a whole race of people with abilities and that the governor of that country was the boyfriend of the teacher of his self on this Earth.

But while the Spider-Man AU was astonished by that, the Inheritors, who had gags added so they wouldn't speak, had their eyes wide open in astonishment since Genosha existed on different Earths that they have been to, but the leader was always a Mutant called Magneto.

Although that Mutant was dangerous, they knew how to deal with him, hell, they had even killed several of him from other realities.

But it seems that this Earth was a big box full of surprises and that made them very uneasy.

They had a bad premonition that this new governor of Genosha was not normal.

After all, you have to have power to be able to lead a country full of Mutants.

Although they already had a rough idea of what they would do to them in that place to obtain information.

Sure they will use a telepath for that job, but they didn't worry too much since they had mental protections.

Looking at each other, they realized that this time, even if they return to their father, they will pay heavily for their actions.

Now they just understood why their father was cautious about wanting to enter this Earth.

They didn't have much information and they also didn't understand why there was a lot of Web of Life and Destiny energy in this place.

They could only hold on and wait for a good opportunity to escape.

What they didn't realize was that Black Widow had been watching them and she had noticed their many expression changes.

But she only smiled and was very interested in the secrets that these beings hide.
