The call connects.

"What's wrong?" Fury asked the moment his image appeared on the screen.

"Hey, can't I just call you to chat with a good friend?" Alex said trying to sound outraged by his words.

Fury's face doesn't change and he continues to stare at him.

"Aaah, you're not funny" Alex said with a sigh.

"Now, tell me" Fury said.

"Well, you remember I told you about my informant in space, right?" Alex asked him.

"Yes" Fury answered with a nod of his head.

"Well, she found the Power Stone and is currently being hunted by the Kree forces and Thanos's forces, so she's heading to Earth for me to help her" Alex said calmly.

Alex had previously told him everything about the Stones, Thanos, and the great forces of space, so Fury wasn't surprised.

But Alex caught a small change in Fury's face when he mentioned the Kree.

Fury sinks into his thoughts for a few seconds and says:

"I see, I will report to the United Nations and contact the Avengers and Fantastic Four to support you"

Alex nods his head agreeing with his words.

But Fury doesn't end there, and staring at him he says:

"You know that if we manage to defeat the invaders, the Stone cannot stay with you"

Without any concern, Alex says:

"I know, you don't have to worry, I won't keep it and you will decide what to do with it"

Alex knows that he can't be greedy on the subject because if he is, the other countries will see him as a threat, and he doesn't want that because it would only prevent him from enjoying his life with his family, friends and with the Mutants of Genosha.

He's a ruler, he can't be close-minded.

Also, he will use that Stone as a lure to attract the one with the Mind Stone.

He can't let that bastard stay hidden.

Fury nodded and took his word for it.

After a short conversation, Alex ended the call.

With a small smile, Alex picked up his daughter and went to relax with his wives, before preparing for battle.

After his conversation with Alex, Fury didn't sit idly by and started making his preparations.

First, he went and met with the World Security Council.

They were first outraged that Alex Wayne would bring trouble to Earth, but Fury told them about the Stones and Thanos's plans with them, which calmed their attitude.

They asked about what will happen to the Stone, and to avoid problems with that issue, Fury told them that the Stone would be given to the Avengers for its protection.

Although they were a little dissatisfied, they accepted that part.

They knew that this was Alex's way of showing his support to maintain their diplomatic and political relations.

After some small talk and arrangements, Fury left to report to the Avengers and the Fantastic Four for help.

Which, the two groups found no problems.

April 30, 2015

The 36 hours had elapsed and Gamora's spaceship had reached Earth orbit.

And Gamora's group was shocked to see that fleet of spaceships and felt nervous at the thought that the Kree forces and the Chitauri forces had already reached Earth.

But they breathe a sigh of relief when Alex contacts them.

"Oh, you guys are here, you can come through. You don't have to worry about the spaceships, it's just a precaution" Alex said through the screen.

Gamora nods her head and heads straight for Genosha.

When they arrive in Genosha airspace, Gamora's group is surprised to see how beautiful Mutant country looks.

"It's really like fantasy" Captain Marvel said in awe.

"You're right, this place is as advanced as any planet I've visited before, and even better than most of them" Gamora replied calmly.

For her, the first time she saw it was also a great surprise, she never thought that a backward planet like the Earth would have such a technologically advanced country.

"Hey, look there!" Rocket said in an astonished tone of voice as he looked outside through a spaceship window.

They all turn to see him and come closer to look and are astonished too.

Since they are seeing a lot of Sentinels like the one Gamora has.

Some patrol the streets led by some Mutants, others are in the port of Genosha helping with different tasks such as preparing cargo, repairing ships, etc.

"It's impressive, with all these robots we don't have to be afraid when they attack us" Peter Quill said excitedly since he knew perfectly well the power of these Sentinels.

They all nod their heads in agreement.

"This country must be very lucky to create those robots" Captain Marvel commented with a smile.

"I advise you not to think like that, and don't mention it in front of those people" Gamora said, making everyone look at her in confusion.

"What do you mean?" Captain Marvel asked as she frowned.

"On this planet, people who awaken superpowers due to a gene in their body are called Mutants. These special people were outcasts, enslaved and even they experimented on them"

"Because they were powerful, people created these robots to hunt them, although they weren't as advanced as those robots you see now, they were strong enough to catch them. This country used to be hell for Mutants, it wasn't until Alex saved them that they were able to live in peace and those robots were confiscated by Alex and improved by the people who work for him"

When Gamora finished speaking, everyone inside the ship fell silent.

Now they understand why Gamora said that a moment ago.
