Civil War Part 17

Currently Psylocke, Irene and Spider-Man headed towards an abandoned warehouse.

After leaving Mary Jane and May Parker in a safe place.

Psylocke read the mind of the man they had captured and from him they knew that after this mission, they were to meet in an abandoned warehouse in Queens.

Arriving at the warehouse, they discreetly looked inside the place and to their surprise there were not just two people, but it was a group of well-armed gangsters.

Psylocke identified the two men who had been the accomplices in the attack on Spider-Man.

"I'll take care of the armed men, Irene and you go get those two, they are the accomplices of the man we captured" Psylocke said calmly to Spider-Man as she pointed to the two men in the middle of the group.

Spider-Man nods seriously calming his anger a bit.

Irene just smiles calmly.

"Then when I start my attack and distract them, you guys capture them" Psylocke said.

Seconds before Psylocke's group arrived at the warehouse

The two men who had attacked Spiderman were currently nervous.

The plan was that if the attack failed, they were to split up and escape. Once that was done, they were to gather in this warehouse where their boss had already prepared men to protect them.

But more than five minutes have passed and his last partner still hasn't arrived.

That gave them a bad premonition, they intended to quickly get out of that place and disappear for a while.

But unfortunately for them, they should have done it a while ago because they no longer had a chance.

"Then I'll make a move" Psylocke said calmly before disappearing from her position.

Moments later, Psylocke appeared next to one of the armed men and kicked him in the head, knocking him unconscious.

That startled everyone present and reacting quickly, they began to shoot madly, but to their bad luck Psylocke was like a ghost and moved around them leaving them unconscious on the ground.

The two accomplices were also alarmed and quickly wanted to escape from the place since they deduced that this woman was behind them.

And taking advantage of the chaos, they left the place. What they didn't know was that two people were already following them and quickly surrounded them.

They were Irene and Spider-Man.

The two men reacted quickly and drew their weapons, unfortunately for them they were faced with two people very sensitive to dangers.

Spider-Man released his web, took his gun from one of the men, and then punched him, knocking him unconscious.

Irene walked over to the second man, disabling his movements and easily taking the gun from him.

Psylocke was also not far behind and finished off all these gangsters.

And then she read the minds of all these criminals.

Once she finished, she says:

"All these men work for the Kingpin, and they were given the mission to protect those two guys that you captured"

Hearing the Kingpin's name, Spider-Man grits his teeth in anger. He had a feeling that guy might be involved, but knowing that he really is the culprit only makes him furious.

"Then what do we do?" Spider-Man asked because he knew that the Kingpin was in prison and it was almost impossible to make him pay for what he did.

"Don't worry, I have an idea how to make him pay" Irene said with a smile.

For some strange reason Spider-Man felt a little sorry for the Kingpin, but that feeling quickly fades and he just nods.

Psylocke approaches the two and asks:

"Are you ready?"

"Ready for what?" Spider-Man asked subconsciously.

"Well, for what else, let's visit the Kingpin in prison" Irene answered with a smile.

Thus, with Spider-Man's surprised look, they disappeared from the scene.

At the New York Prison for Dangerous Criminals

In a better looking cell than the others, it was inhabited by a large, bulky, bald man, who had a calm and indifferent look.

This man is the Kingpin.

Ever since he discovered the true identity of Spider-Man, he did everything in his power to assassinate him, even while he was in prison.

Using all his contacts and planning it in detail, he had a good opportunity to do it, unfortunately a few minutes ago he received a call telling him that the plan had failed.

He was disappointed but not worried, even if Spider-Man found out about his involvement he wouldn't do anything to him.

That was one of the weaknesses of being a hero.

The only thing the Kingpin could do now was wait for this to pass and look for a new opportunity to finish him off.

As he was lost in thought, he notices something very strange.

The prison is very quiet, which is not normal, since at this time of the morning there are always curses or small fights between the inmates.

And at that moment, while he is a bit confused by the situation, he hears footsteps.

Those footsteps stop in front of his cell and seeing who it is, he puts a small smile on his face but still maintains his coldness.

They are three people, one man and two women.

But he recognizes the man, it's Spider-Man.

"To think that you would come to see me in person, I am very flattered" the Kingpin said with a very sarcastic tone.

"Yeah, I also never thought to come to see you, because I thought that once in prison you wouldn't be able to bother anyone, but I was wrong" Spider-Man commented calmly ignoring the Kingpin's sarcasm.

The Kingpin raises his eyebrow at Spider-Man's calm.

"What's wrong, are you angry because I hurt your girlfriend and your aunt?" the Kingpin asked trying to irritate him.

"Well, I could be if they got hurt, but thank God that didn't happen" Spider-Man calmly answered.

This makes the Kingpin disappointed in his men's work.

"Because of that, I realized that in order to prevent you from causing more damage, I must take your wings off" Spider-Man continued.

That gives the Kingpin a bad premonition.

"That's why, with the help of my telepathic friend, we will take all your money"

When Spider-Man finished speaking, the place fell silent and the Kingpin was furious.
