Inhumans Part 20

Seeing that the foreigners began to attack, Medusa grits her teeth and with a look full of hatred, she says to Maximus:

"Damn traitor, you will pay for everything you have done"

Maximus just looks at them with a big smile.

The members of the Inhuman army are desperate. Their barrier had fallen, their King had been defeated and to top it off, the foreign army began to attack them.

This discouraged the Inhuman army, which the A.I.M. forces took advantage of.

" Surrender Medusa, so we won't hurt you" Maximus said.

"Shut up bastard!" Medusa replied helplessly.

She had seen how her subjects could not react to the attack of the foreign army and the defenses were about to fall.

"Stop wasting time Maximus, I can take care of them" Jailer said as he prepared to attack the other members of the royal family.

Gorgon, Auran, Karnak, Triton, and Medusa prepared to fight.

At that moment, they felt the energy leave their bodies.

They knew this was due to Jailer's power.

While they were suffering from Jailer's attack, Lockjaw, who had been unconscious, got up, approached his comrades and teleported them away.

Seeing that, Maximus is surprised, but quickly calms down and with a smile he murmurs:

"Fucking cunning dog"

The reason to get rid of Black Bolt was because of his great power and Jailer did a good job.

But the reason he attacked Lockjaw was because of his ability to teleport which could help them escape.

But he never expected that animal to be cunning and act like it was unconscious and wait for the right moment to help the others escape.

"You see what happens by wasting time and trying to convince them by talking" Jailer said to him with a nonchalant look.

Shrugging his shoulders, Maximus says:

"Help our allies and guide our men to kill those who resist"

Jailer didn't speak and followed Maximus's orders, but he pauses for a moment and asks:

"What will you do with the now former king?"

Maximus looks at his unconscious brother and answers to Jailer:

"You don't have to worry about what I'll do with him"

Jailer said no more and quickly left to continue the coup.

Seeing Jailer leave, Maximus approaches his brother and even knowing that his brother would not listen to him, he says:

"You know brother, you're really dumb, you thought you could always stop me"

"But I always waited, amassed men who would serve me, joined foreigners to distract your attention, and manipulated the Genetic Council to force Crystalia to leave Attilan"

"And now brother, I ask you, did you expect this?"
