Future Part 1

When we arrived in Genosha, we headed to the Government Palace.

Mantis looked around curiously as everything was new to her.

Arriving at the Palace, I allowed Mantis to explore the surroundings.

Polaris decided to be her guide.

Psylocke, Domino, Irene and I walk into my office.

Taking a seat, I ask Irene:

"What's bothering you, Irene?"

Hesitating for a moment, she says:

"I had another vision of the future"

That surprised everyone in the room.

I understood that she feels uncomfortable with what she saw.

"What did you see?" I asked her.

Sighing, she says:

"It would be better if the whole Council heard that"

I raise my eyebrow at her words but shrugging, I say:

"All right, but the meeting will be tomorrow. They must be busy right now and we'll also talk about the vision you don't remember"

Nodding, Irene leaves accompanied by Psylocke and Domino.

They felt that what she saw in that vision disturbed her a little.

I frowned too, I don't know what she saw but it seems to have affected her.

March 21, 2014

Mantis had gotten used to her new life in less than a day and for some strange reason she had become friends with Darcy, it seems that they understood each other well.

I didn't bother too much with that, Mantis seemed happy.

And right now, we're at the Council meeting that we agreed to earlier.

"So first let's talk about the prophecy that Irene said" I said to everyone in the meeting.

Although I am not guided by the prophecies, it will be a way to prevent problems after all. And even if I know the Marvel Universe, my presence here has already altered the lives of many people.

Seeing everyone attentive, I tell them what she said.

When I finish telling them, Magneto says:

"That time traveler stuff is really annoying"

Nodding her head, Irene says:

"You're right. Interpreting my words, it must be someone who comes from the future to prevent the birth of the person called the Celestial Guardian"

"Yeah, but we must know who the parents of that person are" a thoughtful Pietro said.

It's weird to see him like this.

"The only clue we have of the father is that he is known as the Illusion Destroyer" Callisto said.

"I know who he is" Irene said.

Everyone is surprised, even I was surprised.

"Who is he, Irene?" Wanda asked.

Pointing at me, Irene says:

"It's Alex"

Everyone is stunned.

Looking at her curiously, I ask:

"Why do you think that it's me?"

"It's because of your power. As far as I know, your power seems to be able to destroy any ability, be it mutant or magical. That's why I think you're that Illusion Destroyer" Irene said after thinking about it for a moment.

Everyone in the room nods in agreement, they know very well how my power works.

"Then that time traveler could come for our child" a worried Wanda said.

"Don't worry too much, if he really comes for us, I'll kick his ass" I said to Wanda.

"He's right, no one's going to mess with my grandson" Magneto said.

After a little conversation, I ask Irene:

"So, now will you tell me about the other vision you had?"

Irene just nods her head.
