Comments of chapter undefined of The King's Mistress

I'm confused...so are the nobles in Drakin keeping Allister's assassination attempt under wraps? Because I know that in the past it did not take much time as all for news from the goings on of the castle to reach the travelers on the road and spreading. with all of the people who traveled to Cair for Sierra's coronation and wedding, you would have thought that at least. one of them would have caught wind of what was going down in Drakin! I mean it has been 2 or 3 days at this point t since the incident...and also how is he? is there even a groom to be still alive?
