Rapture…. Oh Rapture.. the city lost to the ocean. Most people believe it doesn’t exist or think it’s a mith But not me, I will find it My mother was obsessed with it to the point that she spent years of her life to find it With her research I tracked it to the North Atlantic Ocean As i land down at the bottom of the ocean I see a light in the distance. The light is followed by a low raspy grow… ———————————————————————— This will be my third book, hopefully it will be good. It’s based off what happened to the city of rapture after the events of bioshock 2 Now I must give you a warning Try not to drown~
My name is Garrett Talley, I'm 20 years old. The year is 1975 and I'm currently getting on a boat. I'm a treasure hunter, well I like to call my self one
I walk onto my boat which I named the S.S. Treasure. I have a small crew of three, there's Sam, Fin and Rika. I've known all three of them for five years. Their great hunters and good friends.
Now I'm probably boring you with all these unnecessary stuff what you probably want to know about is the current treasure we're looking for!
We're looking for the lost city of Rapture!
It's said a very rich man by the name of Andrew Ryan, back in 1957 he built a underwater city called Rapture. But out of nowhere the city lost contact with the surface. Thousands of people lost to the sea, Some people think that the city sunk, some people say that the city was just a mith. Some people just say that it doesn't exist.
I on the other hand believe
When I was young my mother used to tell me story's of the underwater city. The story usually went, "there's a lighthouse on the open sea that leads to the beautiful underwater city of rapture, the people there have superpowers beyond your wild imagination! There's beautiful views and great people, there's large metal beasts that protect little girls."
My mother absolutely loved the idea of rapture…. She always wanted to find it…
My mother died two years ago from heart failure
But when she died we were going through her belongings and I was told to go through the attic. She always told me not to go up there. I climbed up the ladder and found the walls covered with research.
Old newspapers, messages, mail, maps. There was wire going from one thing to the next all leading to a map at the end of the room.
All the strings lead to the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean, pictures were laying on tables, one of weird metal diving suit with a extremely large drill being pulled up by a fishing ship
Another picture is of Andrew Ryan directing a bunch of divers
There was about almost 50 pictures, they all were vital Proof that Rapture did indeed exist.
So I promised to my mother that I'd find Rapture for her. And now in present day I step on the boat to start another day of Searching…
