Good Riddance!

"Finally, the death star is leaving. Good riddance!"

"Good! I can finally sleep easy at night without worrying if I would get killed at any moment."

"Yeah! Even during these past 3 days, the assassination attempts have never stopped. With him out of the picture, hopefully those assassins can leave our Clovis village alone."

"I heard an interesting rumor over the last few days. Is it true that the Nell household plans to leave with Wolf Boy?"

"Hey. I heard it too. Aren't they just stupid? What is loyalty over one's life? Or do they think that they will be able to protect him forever? My brother, who works under Elder Yager's warrior team, said that maybe midway through their journey, they would be able to avoid the assassin. But once that enemy knows that they are with Wolf boy, won't he just send more people to kill them?"

"Exactly! My father said the same thing! The late village chief had some enemies that wanted his entire lineage dead. So doesn't this mean they won't stop until they see Wolf boy's corpse?"

"Suicide. These Nells are dead."

Amidst the large gathering of villagers, many spoke on the matter, not bothering to disguise their satisfaction seeing the death star leave Clovis village.

Of course, some sneered at the fate of these Nells.

Was this how the village Tyrants would end their tyranny?

Heh…

It serves them right, leaving their shrewish women to run amok.

In this world, it wasn't about gender.

The world respected the strong.

And for them who were mortals, men were typically born with more strength than women. So they had the final say… Unless there was a woman who could give better results than them.

What they valued were results.

Out on hunting trips or out carrying heavy resources, how much could a woman do in terms of raw strength compared to a man?

They discovered that if a woman could carry 20 buckets of water for long distances in a day across the terrain, most men could produce double the yield.

That's why for mortals, men were typically in charge since they would be the ones risking their lives outdoors during hunts, village battles, and keeping the village safe.

There were indeed a few women in these hunting teams, but not a lot.

So far as one could prove themselves, that was all that mattered.

No one cared about gender.

After all, there were uncountable Sky Hailers that were women, leading armies across the land.

Sky Hailers were those who broke through their mortal shell, becoming mages, paladins, warriors, etc.

They were called Sky Hailers since they all planned to ascend above the sky!

In this world, what they valued were results.

It was shameful to see the strong Nell men allow their women, who had been proven to be weaker than them, to boss them around.

If Willow were truly stronger than Titus, no one would think it weird. They would only feel that it should be like that.

But given Titus' strength, It was an utter disgrace to see him being led by his woman!

.

"What did you all say?!!"

Grandma Willow bellowed in rage, listening to the crowd's words.

Dare to talk about her family while she's still here?

Passing very cold eyes through the crowd, many subconsciously closed their mouths.

(QxQ)

"That's better! Don't let me hear any of you, or I don't mind beating you all before leaving!"

She sneered at them, seeing many shriek in fear.

Cowards.

Wolfram shook his head wryly, looking at the stunning 34-year-old grandma Willow.

Honestly, she was very beautiful. But her villainous face and eyebrows only gave her a fierce appearance.

What a bizarre family.

Others transmigrated into families with characters that looked as delicate and soft as a lily.

But in his case, all his said-sisters and nana looked villainous while their husbands looked heroic and very opposite.

From appearance alone, you wouldn't think to pair them together.

Gathering around Wolfram were Ivo, Titus, Otto, and Leo.

"Otto, have you done the roll call?"

Otto nodded. He was in charge of this.

"Out of the 66 Nell members, only 49 have turned up, ready to set out."

In the village, there were a little over 250~270 villagers.

So this meant that the Nells controlled at least 25% of the entire village population, gathering hunters and taking care of these lot.

Again, it should be noted that this 66 included women and children. They had initially had 7 children within the group, 31 men and 35 women under their care.

As villagers, people constantly died, so the children grew under their training, taking the deceased's place.

If women married men from other teams like those from the team belonging to the elders, these women would be women of that team… unless their chosen husbands wanted to take refuge in their Nell household.

.

All in all, it was a cycle of life that every main village powerhouse abided to.

Excluding Ivo and Wolfram, they initially planned to leave with 66 people. But just this morning, 5 men refused to go, pulling their families away from the Nell household.

Amongst these 5, one was single, 3 were married with children, and the last one person was just newly married with no children.

It can be said that amongst these few who refused to go, a few should be traitors, while others should just be scared, wanting to survive alongside their families.

In truth, he was shocked that many who had families still chose to leave with him.

That is… how strong was their faith in himself and Titus that they would choose to make this move?

Suddenly, Wolfram felt like Moses or Abraham in the bible, telling people to follow him though the chances of dying were very high.

Wolfram's apple bobbed along his throat.

'No matter what, I must keep them alive. Provided I don't listen to that dog system and die, then there is hope!'

Wolfram was determined!
