Chapter 312: Shadow Fiend

Before Abium could understand the secret behind those threads, drowsiness assaulted his mind. At that moment, the Shadow Fiend's red eyes were glowing and hypnotizing him.

'No!..Resist!' He gripped his hand tighter and soon found himself sitting near a broken bed in a small house. On that bed was a blonde-haired lady with azure eyes who appeared pale as white. She was in an ill state and appeared to be on the verge of dying.

At that moment, she lay on the broken bed and stared at the ceiling with a vacant expression. Teardrops were constantly flowing from both her eyes, and she didn't seem to have any strength even to wipe those tears.

"Come closer." She said while shifting her eyes towards Abium. But there was a difference in Abium's outer look. He had black hair instead of blonde and looked more like a human.

He sat near her with a soulless expression, grabbed her smooth hand, and moved his face close to the blonde-haired woman's face.
