Remember The Beautiful Day

Candice's Diary at Senior Grade

            My alarm is ringing loudly and I haven't finished my dream. I groaned in annoyance, grabbed the tiny object on the nightstand, and put it in a glass of water. The sound of the alarm was muffled. I continued my disturbed sleep until I heard the sound of my cell phone which further ignited my anger.

            "Can I sleep, Geez?! This is hell-day!"

            I grabbed my phone and saw Mandy's name flashed on the screen. Rolling an eyeball, I lifted it. "What, Mandy? Don't you know it's a holiday? Which means Candice Anne Fields' national sleep day."

            Mandy hissed in there. "Candice, come on, wake up! You promised to help my mother cook for a small party at my house to celebrate my graduation day!"
