I Was Reincarnated Into Honkaiverse, But I’ve Never Played the Game

Inside the hospital room, a young man at the age of around 23 is lying on the bed. He is a good-natured young man with a bright future ahead. But that bright future changed at his 20 years of age.

At night, a dark-haired young man walks through the neighborhood while reading the latest chapter of Sousei no Onmyouji.

"Damn, it never feels old to see the interaction between Rokuro and Benio," he smiled a little. He remembered the first time he met his girlfriend.

"We were also like them when we met for the first time, huh?" he thought. He then noticed a young girl around the age of 10 was trying to cross the road alone without looking at the lane. So the coincidence of a truck is also coming with speed.

As a good-natured young man, he couldn't just stand there and let the girl die in his watch. So he quickly ran toward the young girl and pushed her out of the way. But he didn't have time for himself to dodge and got hit by the truck.

Luckily or rather, unluckily, he didn't die right there. But instead, his legs got smashed to pieces, and his spine stopped working. Of course, if it were some other families, they would stop caring about him right now. But his family loved him dearly, and they had done all they could to make him live. At that time, the door opened, and three people walked in.

"Yes, I came here as soon as I finished the lecture," Elle replied.

"You must be tired coming here with haste. I'll do the cleaning. You can sit down and take a rest," the middle-aged woman said.

"Yes, you should take the rest now that we are here, Elle," the boy at the age of around 20 said.

"I don't know how to repay you for taking care of my idiot brother," the young boy said.

"Well, I saw the manga of that LN and am going to try it out," Owen replied.

"And look at here, I got Caren with a ticket," Owen said while showing his FGO servant list.

"Goddammit, you are making me angry!" Troy replied angrily. And so, the bickering between the two brothers continues.

After an hour or two later, his family said goodbye and returned home. Then, an hour later, his girlfriend too left to go back home.

"As I thought, it took a lot out of my energy. Seems like I don't have much time," he muttered. He is fully aware of his body breaking down. Yet, he tried to stay as nothing had happened because of his family and girlfriend.

The next day,

Just like any day else, his girlfriend and family visited Owen. But he knew that he won't be able to live past today. Even breathing became a chore to him.

"Elle," he started.

"Save your breath, Owen. I'm not breaking up with you," the girl replied, not wanting to hear more of it.

"Did something happen, brother?" His brother Troy, noticing the strange atmosphere coming from Owen, asked.

"I don't think I'll be able to live past today," he smiled a little. He wasn't sad about dying. But he was sad to leave this awesome family and loving girlfriend like Elle alone.

"Stop joking, dude. It's not funny," the horrified look appeared on his brother's face when he noticed that Owen was not kidding. "Wait here, and don't die on me. I'm calling mom and dad," with that, Troy left Owen's bedside.

Elle, noticing the situation, came to his bedside sluggishly and dropped onto the chair like a puppet whose strings had been cut. "It's a lie, right?" she sobbed. "Please tell me it's a lie," she added.

Owen smiled wryly. He wanted to caress her cheeks, but he noticed that he couldn't move his body. "Ah... I'm going to die," tears swell up in his eyes.

At that time, the door opened with a bang, and three people rushed inside the room. "Owen!" they shouted, not caring about their manners.

"Mom... Dad...," he started. His voice is soft, not like his usual happy-go-lucky voice. "Thank you for being a fantastic parent. I am fortunate to be your child," he smiles, albeit tears fall down from his eyes.

"Troy, stop being a dick and take care of them," he tried to joke, but it made his family more sad than happy.

"And Elle," he started. "Move on," with that final word, Owen Frost died of heart failure.

Standing in the void, Owen opened his eyes. "Hmm... where am I?" he muttered. "I remembered dying on the hospital bed," he added.

"Yes, you are dead. You know the procedure, and so do I," the voice boomed behind Owen. Standing there is a man in his late forties. "There are many behind you waiting to be reincarnated. So without further ado, let's start."

Without waiting for Owen to understand the situation, the man brought out six wheels. "Here are six wheels of gacha to help you with your new life," the man said, without waiting for Owen.

"The first wheel! This will determine what ability you will be getting," the man spins the wheel, making Owen looks at it intensely. And the pointer stops at...

He needed to go into that world with just that knowledge.

She has fiery red hair with her eyes burning bright with fire.

To fight against this powerful opponent known as the 7th Herrscher, Dr. MEI proposed to insert the useful Emperor Class Honkai genes and DNA into the human body to give them a better chance against the Honkai. And those who underwent the test will be called MANTIS, (M)assively (A)ugmented (N)eo-(T)ech (I)ntegrated (S)oldiers.

To battle the 7th Herrscher, many people volunteered to undergo the test. But only two people survived. The first one is Kevin, and his gene donor was the Emperor Class Honkai Codenamed Parvati, with the power of freezing the water molecule.

The second one to undergo is Lloyd Mervyn. His gene donor was the Emperor Class Honkai Codenamed Vayu, with the power of manipulating the wind.

The two of them were immediately dispatched to battle against the enemy rampaging in Australia.

The two of them fought hard against the Herrscher with the help of the backup sent by the HQ. The battle lasted for nearly a day, but they had won. Humanity had won against the 7th Herrscher. The only thing they needed to do was to kill the woman.

"I am sorry, Himeko," a white-haired boy was straddling the lying body of the woman with a sword in his hand.

The woman said nothing and touched his cheek while smiling.

"Don't be. Between humanity and me, you chose humanity. And I am proud of you," she said weakly.

"I am sorry. I am sorry. I am sorry. I am sorry. I am sorry," the words keep on repeating like a broken cassette, and tears are falling down from Lloyd's eyes like a broken dam.

"Now, do what you need to do," there is not a hint of anger in her eyes as she had already accepted her death.

"Himeko… I love you," Lloyd said while aiming his sword to the heart of the woman.

"And… I only wanted to create a peaceful world for the two of us," Himeko said weakly as the sword stabbed her heart.

The relationship started as childhood friends had ended just like that when Lloyd killed his beloved with his own hands.

Yup! I'm doing this. No system, no chaotic MC, no canon knowledge! Just plain old Urien now renamed Lloyd's adventure. Since I have the story outline before Urien gets his memory back, I'll be updating this faster than my Evil Lord fic.

Now, onto the two rewards of Lloyd. Yes, that BGM and Brick. I would add them in Evil Lord fic as a reward when Urien gets back his memory. But you guys got to see it here first.
