Land of Fire.
Hidden leaf village.
Konohagakure, a Shinobi village founded in the Land of Fire resides deep within a forest, surrounded by enormous walls.
As generally considered the most powerful nation of the five great nations, Konoha enjoys many years of relative peace and stability compared to the other five nations.
The village of Konohagakure was an amalgamation of powerful ancient Clans in the history of the Shinobi world, after all. And was being protected by the shadow of the Hokage.
Speaking of Hokage, the Hokage is considered the strongest ninja in the village with the responsibility to maintain peace and tranquillity among the residents of the village.
Currently, the man with such responsibility is none other than Hiruzen Sarutobi. He was appointed by the late Second during the First Great Ninja War.
And to show prestige and respect to the Hokage, their stone faces are carved into a mountain.
Behind the vastly spread village, stood the proud mountain known as the Hokage Rock, three faces carved into it. Showcasing their prestige as a leader. It was envisioned by Hashirama as a symbol that Hokage would always watch over the village.
The massive A-un gates connecting the village with the outside world were open and filled with crowds of people entering and leaving.
As if to show the majesty and prosperity of the village, the enormous rock wall with the faces of three generations of Hokage craved into it was quietly standing under the light of the sun spilling through the clouds.
Ancient even among the ninja villages, the Land of Fire's Konohagakure. The village, which had participated and came victorious in the Second Great Ninja War a few years ago, had also taken damage to an extent, now shone brightly. Everything appeared to be going well, but each era inevitably had its trials.
"Hm?"
Hundreds of meters away from the Hokage rock mountain, sitting on the bank of a lake as the breeze fluttered his long, black hair, a boy looked back over his shoulder.
"Heh, what's up, little guy?"
Scratching and petting the head of a cute little bird with his finger, who suddenly came out of nowhere, the young kid let out a soft chuckle.
Chirp~!
As if responding to his greeting, the bird snuggled up to his high-colored attire and flew away with a happy chirp, tearing through the air.
Izuna Uchiha's eyes followed that departing back in the air until his eyes could make out quite clearly.
"Looks like it's time to return home, huh?"
The sun was going back into the hiding, leaving the ablaze sky filled with numerous clouds behind. The fresh breeze of air continued to rejuvenate his soft skin as the exhaustion after his ninja training slowly vanished.
He exhaled a brief sigh, and while looking at his reflection on the crystal clear water of the lake next to him, got up and strode towards his house.
Slowly walking towards his house in the Uchiha district, glancing at the happy faces of the people all around, Izuna had a soft smile on his face.
Here and there, kids played around, adults talked over various things while strolling and having fun, some eating sweats while others eating barbeque- made a peaceful atmosphere.
'The people of this land, right now and even at tough times act and support each other like it's the most natural thing to do- the same way they wake up every morning.'
Bathing in the yellowish-red light of the setting sun, Izuna thought to himself but unknowingly voiced out his thoughts.
"So it's been four years already, huh?"
He still clearly remembered the day he became aware of his new existence in the Shinobi world. It was a September night, a few years after the end of the Second Great Ninja War, the day he was 'reborn'.
Unlike others around him, Izuna was well aware of his previous life. He died in his previous life and got a chance to be reborn in this world.
"Hm?
Suddenly noticing an old lady stumbling near the entrance of the Uchiha district, as if being pulled from his thoughts, Izuna helped her with the weight.
"Oh, be careful grandma. Oh! Let me help you with this."
"Ahaha, you really are a kind boy, aren't you?"
The old lady kindly patted the back of the young kid- Izuna didn't reply, just smiled softly.
Walking side by side through the streets of the Uchiha district, the duo made a wide turn and they finally reached their destination, arriving at the old lady's house.
"Ah, that's enough help kiddo. Anyways, it seems that you are quite hungry yourself, aren't you? Just wait for a few moments, okay?"
Izuna simply nodded his head and waited for her to return.
"Come here. I just made some Dango for my grandson, you should also have some of these."
"Oh! Thank you so much, grandma."
It was evening now, and after his long day out in the training, Izuna naturally felt hungry. And glancing at the tasty-looking Dango, he couldn't help but express his joy.
"All right then, I'll be on my way. Take care of yourself, okay!"
"Haha, hm-hmm. You too, don't tire yourself too much."
Izuna nodded in response, and with a happy mood and quite a few Dango in his hands, strode towards his house, not far from there.
Whoosh!!
A sudden breeze caused his long hair to flutter as his eyes unknowingly fell upon the Hokage stone faces, and a thoughtful look appeared on his face.
The History.
The Ninja world's dangerous and once you set foot, nothing was certain about what would come next.
The history was the given proof that even Shinobi as strong as Hashirama had perished. And not just him, many other strong Kage and Shinobi had lost their lives.
However, Izuna's mind was at ease, unconcerned about these things. How should he go on putting about this? He had something that others would never have?
Just before his 'rebirth', Izuna was given a choice of five perks to be born with. And not just that, the time and place to be for his rebirth were also to be decided by him.
Affinity towards all existing elements.
An enormous amount of Chakra.
Extreme healing abilities.
No-bloodline limits.
And-???
[ A/N: The fifth perk would be revealed when the time is right. But don't worry, it won't take much time.]
These five were the perks that Izuna had opted for.
What a wonderful thing for him to have such an opportunity.
It's an undeniable fact that the Ninja world is full of conflicts and wars. And without a shred of doubt, if he completely harnessed his abilities, he'd certainly become one of the strongest, if not the strongest.
"I'm home."
Izuna quickly arrived at his home after the long day of training, and while quietly slipping off his shoes, walked down inside.
"Oh! Welcome home, son."
Just like every other day, his mother, Akane Uchiha, a beautiful lady with long black hair and deep black eyes came from the kitchen and embraced Izuna while kindly patting his head.
She wore a dark purple blouse with a red-plum skirt and a light-yellow apron over it.
"Hm?"
Noticing his exhausted condition, she couldn't help but raise her eyebrows.
"Were you training all by yourself again today? Why don't you take a little break from your endless training?"
"Oh! I'm sorry. I didn't realize the time and-"
Akane had a worried expression on her face, but at his reply, it was soon replaced by a loving one as she saw his son lowering his head.
"Haah! I'm not telling you to apologize, you know? I'm only worried about you. If you continue practicing this way, sooner or later your body will face a dangerous situation."
Izuna nodded.
'I guess, I should take it slow for the time being.'
It was true and a fact that Chakra makes one's body stronger as one continues to train with it. But excessive training might be more harmful than helpful, not to mention for someone as young as Izuna.
Would something like that happen to him, though?
"Heh, yes, you better reflect on what I said."
Lately, whenever Izuna returned home, he'd be extra tired, causing her the worry. Akane was a little concerned about him as his mother.
He had indeed resolved to become strong. But he personally thought he wasn't doing enough for that, after all. Thus he increased the ninja training for that. However, looking back now, he sighed and eventually decided to have short breaks.
"All right, I will, mother."
He said, pouring cold water on his face to refresh himself.
"Hm? Is something else on your mind?"
"Oh, yes. Is father home yet?"
"He is, I think, probably working on something."
Izuna briefly nodded his head. And following the way to his father's room, he entered inside.
Even before Izuna started his basic Ninja training, he had already decided not to leave any kind of weakness in him.
He wanted to learn and master it all. And his perks would certainly play a big role in them, so he had decided to make full use of them.
And after today's training, he had a few questions in his mind about Kenjutsu and wanted answers right away.
'Hmm, I wonder...'
Akane thought, glancing past his shoulders and taking a look at her husband's room. She turned around, shrugged her shoulders, and made her way to the kitchen.
"Oh, and the food's to be ready soon, so better be ready, all right!"
Izuna heard his mother's voice from the kitchen next to the sideway hall and he immediately voiced out in response.
"Will be right there, mother!"
