Dealing with Orochimaru

Sasuke had turned the entirety of the ninja portion of the village onto its head. In the short term, there would be a transitioning period as the elder's council was slowly moved out of position.

When all Danzo had done was coming to light under the eyes of the Hokage, he became smaller and smaller in his seat, Clan Heads raging at the evidence, and the blatant blind eye Hiruzen had turned to them.

It had gotten worse shortly after as more evidence continued to make itself known... At least the evidence Sasuke let drip through his fingers to the hungry hounds that were those who now hated the Hokage.

A change was going to happen as Hiruzen's duties were slowly shifting from his shoulders to the shoulders of Kakashi, who only agreed to help when he was told he would be given assistance from Haku, who would act as assistance.

Long term, Sasuke was now in control of the village, it would take a few months for it to become a sturdy grip, but he was making sure it affected the civilians as little as possible.

The elder council, who let it go on however would be replaced by Elders under the control of Sasuke.

Making it seem like a slow transition of power was to make sure no one saw Konoha in a position of weakness. They suppressed a Tailed beast in their village before it could go on a rampage, and even fixed the seals on Gaara as a sign of 'Good Faith.

Sasuke was now moving to focus on immediate problems, such as crushing any darker operation that was allowed to run within Konoha, such as slave traffic, drug traffic, and illegal activity. Having sent Zabuza so he could stretch his legs for the first time in a while.

Sasuke was heading now to visit Orochimaru, the large thorn in their side right now, he was traveling with Guy, who was there as a 'Deterrent' If Orochimaru attempted something, Guy was there to kill him once and for all. It would be annoying to lose that kind of knowledge and information, but Sasuke wasn't willing to take a chance, Orochimaru was smarter than him, and Sasuke wasn't cunning or able to plan like he was.

Just as they were about to enter the cell, Sasuke's Mangekyo appeared as time stopped, slipping into the cell he noticed Orochimaru had his eyes closed, a grin across his face. Stepping forward Sasuke simply forced his eyes open before returning to the other side of the room.

He then began to get deep into Orochimaru's mind, basically taking his time.

Orochimaru's mind was dangerous, even with time stopped and allowed to freely walk along it, the amount of traps turns, and basically fall safes prevent someone from being able to read his mind.

Too bad Sasuke had all the time in his world at the moment as he continued to move, lightning starting to crackle from his eyes, which caused him to flinch a bit, not having been used to it. As he returned to his body he noticed something felt different, he wasn't sure what it was, but it felt like something had been released.

He examined himself, seeing nothing wrong he returned to Orochimaru's mind, continuing to slowly work on gathering what he could while staying away from the power of his eyes in case he felt strain, and making sure to pay attention to anything that would change.

Sasuke is... Unsure of how long it took him to short through Orochimaru's memories, there was even a curse like a damn bug inside his head, that basically would attach to someone's mind, and if given time would route deeply and slowly turn someone into Orochimaru.

The only reason Sasuke didn't get affected and was able to see it, was because without time moving, no chakra would be activated, meaning to him it looked like a really big dark bug that gave of 'Don't get near it' vibes, and only did he later while going through memories did he understand what it was.

Orochimaru was hella dangerous, even to the end he had his eyes closed and a smile on his face because he had all his defenses towards the front of his mind, so if someone that could use a mind walking Jutsu, or someone like Sasuke would interact with memories.

The only thing he didn't account for was the fact Sasuke could stop time, time is still a funny concept in the Ninja world as it hasn't been researched so deeply.

As Sasuke retreated, with everything he wanted he returned to his own body, time seeming to resume.

When Orochimaru noticed Sasuke standing in front of him, his eyes at a base Sharingan and the door suddenly opened with a Guy halfway through the door his eyes widened, trying to process why he seemed to skip a few seconds.

Then he felt something... His mind had been touched, he could feel something missing but he wasn't sure exactly what was gone.

''Guy, I'm done already... Kill him in exactly six hours from now."

Sasuke turned around and began to quickly leave, Guy was confused but he shrugged, he was going to kill Orochimaru one way or another, six hours gives him time to squeeze a workout in.

Why six hours? Because when Orochimaru dies, a chakra seal will activate somewhere, which will cause Orochimaru's labs to begin to detonate, Sasuke would need 6 hours to get to all of them he wanted to, and only two were in locations their detonations might harm civilians so he needed to disarm those two.

(I understand this Novel is not what it could be, but this novel was originally made to see how I felt about the Ninja world and to get more familiar with the characters since I started, and to now I have learned a LOT about the series as a whole, and honestly, whereas I like the Naruto world, I learned that I can not take it to seriously because the harder I look into it, the more plotholes I see, the more things that are very... Wishy-Washy. Do I understand that me doing this, and not being willing to fill the plotholes makes it sort of a pothole-ridden Fanfic myself? Yes, but I am writing to enjoy myself, maybe one day I'll make a serious Naruto Fanfic, but that's no time soon.)
