2. Meridian Formation Stage (500yo)

a. 108 Meridians

i. 9 Meridians per level for 12 possible levels

b. Meridians are opened and tempered by wills

i. The paths between meridians are too fragile for most people, so they are often tempered by energy in cultivation stones

ii. The more wills your meridians are tempered with, the better you can handle the essence energy of the next stage

c. 54 open meridians in the minimum necessary to move on to the next stage

3. Essence Gathering Stage (2-3000yo)

a. Energy Type à Essence

i. Light and more abundant than next forms of energy

b. 12 possible levels

i. Peak level for a given expert depends on how many meridians they have opened

1. If opened only the minimum of 54 à 6th level of essence gathering is their cap …

c. This is where intents can start being understood, although it is very difficult and often not possible even for experts at this level

d. Here, you also gain access to a new power type à Rudimentary Domains

i. No True Domains until Celestial Stage

4. Saint Stage (5000yo)

a. Energy Type à Saint

i. In order to meditate and grasp this energy type, one must understand an intent

b. 12 possible levels

i. Minimum Meridians required for this stage à 63

1. Corresponding to 7th Saint Stage as a cap

5. Celestial Stage (10 000 yo)

a. Energy Type à Celestial

i. In order to meditate and grasp this energy type, one must understand a Rudimentary Domain

b. 12 possible levels

i. Minimum Meridians required for this stage à 72

1. Corresponding to 8th Celestial Stage as a cap

c. Near the later stages, geniuses can begin to grasp daos

6. Dao Formation stage (100 000 years per stage)

a. Energy Type à Enigmatic

i. In order to meditate and grasp this energy type, you must form a dao body from your soul

b. There are 12 real levels, but technically a 13th half level

i. This half level is known as à Half-step Dao Formation

1. This is the point where the meridians haven't been filled with any enigmatic energy, but, a dao body has been formed
