Chapter 131: Void Queen

Siegfried was currently trying to contact the overseer and was frustrated to high heaven. He saw all the destruction the herrscher caused and casualties were enormous.

"Mistress Ottilie is coming up with a plan Master Siegfried, her orders are for every operative of Schicksal to stay put." An android that looked like Kallen said to Siegfried, named Amber. She was created by Tilie to be her personal secretary.

"Damn it Amber! Just connect me with the overseer! We need to do something! People are dying left and right!" Siegfried gritted his teeth and got impatient.

"Sorry master Siegfried, you have your orders." Amber ended the call and he punched the wall due to Schicksal's apparent lack of care.

He then went to Welt who was in a bed right now. And he got angrier, seeing Tesla peeling apples for Joachim like he was a sick patient being visited by a friend.

"Welt! Let's do something! We just stay here and do nothing? She's wreaking havoc on the planet!" He exclaimed and Tesla snorted.

"Calm your panties caveman. We've did all we could already with the current situation. The NA branch of AE already fired 3 silver bullets on the moon and they were intercepted easily." Tesla said calmly while continuing to peel.

"Caveman? Me?" Siegfried was flabbergasted and looked at Tesla with a raised brow.

"Yes, you. Caveman, we put 3 silver bullets on lunar orbit. They were guided by surveillance satellites. And if they found the herrscher, they would launch. But strong EM pulses hit them and were disarmed easily." Tesla explained and Siegfried felt complicated as he was actually the one who didn't do anything.

"EMP? Are there EMP weapons on the moon?" Siegfried asked, but the two shook their heads.

"We believe that she has finally fully awakened her powers. And is able to use her herrscher core to it's true potential." Welt said with a solemn expression.

"That girl used brute force to fight me earlier. I'm afraid the 2nd herrscher has now sufficient mastery on her powers." Tesla and Siegfried got a foreboding feeling and they were correct.

"She has donned the mantle of might. Worthy of a true herrscher." Welt said seriously.

Benares was flying to her queen as she just finished taking care of the annoying explosives the humans put near them.

The dragon received powers from her queen and has now control on lightning, ice, and fire. It transformed and turned to a girl. Who looks just like Bella. Except with a different hair color. (pic)

"My queen, Your loyal servant Bella has arrived after doing your bidding. My burst of power has taken care of the human weapons." She kneeled and Sirin was analyzing the texts and data in the base.

"Good job Bella. We observe the humans for now." She was interested on the past era, as she believed that the powerful humans of the past would beat her even if she had numerous cores. Remembering the memory of how they battled, altering whole landscapes and as if the earth experienced cataclysms with just collateral damage.

"Pardon? Forgive this one's rudeness my queen. But shouldn't we press the attack?" Bella was confused on why they wouldn't fight now. As her queen received immense powers right now.

"Do you doubt my judgement Bella? Do you think you are correct?" Sirin looked at Bella and the girl shuddered, immediately bowing her head.

"No! Forgive me my queen." She shut up and thought she was too rude.

"Remember that we are fighting a cunning plague of vermin. They do not fight fair Bella, they cheat, they trick you, they lie. Even I was almost defeated by their tricks." She remembered the accursed traitor.

"They are like ants. There are billions of them, they would just burrow into the ground and crawl out of it again. The rocks will not kill them all." Sirin said to her and then released a message using an EMP.

"I even found something here. Their weapons, math, physics, chemistry, the art of war. I believe we must get as much information 1st." Sirin looked at the data in the base.

"We must prepare ourselves. Destroy one bastion at a time. And we shall start with that accursed traitor." Sirin then started to plan on bringing Welt to the moon, isolating him.

Tesla just received a call from her friends and she lost her energy. "Tesla, what's wrong?" Siegfried noticed her acting weirdly.

"We just received a string of EMP's from the moon. It's in human language when our code breakers interpreted it." Tesla frowned heavily when she remembered it.

"It must have been sent by Sirin." Siegfried guessed and awaited the meaning of the message.

"She said that *I'll be waiting for you in the moon. Don't even dare try tricking or cheating me. I will launch more rocks on the earth every 72 hours of your absence. Don't make me wait, your queen has many virtues. Patience is not one of them.*"

Siegfried was horrified that the meteors would continue to cause destruction on earth. And he was starting to think of ways how to deal with this situation.

Two hours has passed and Siegfried was just twiddling his thumbs. While Welt didn't do anything nor utter a single word. Tesla was just reading and he thought of how calm the people of AE were.

'Damn it, millions would die again after 70 hours. Sirin is planning to kill Welt on the moon and the people would riot if he doesn't go. Believing that the attacks would stop if he comes.' Siegfried's brain was getting fried, thinking of the complex situation.

Einstein then entered the room and gave a clipboard to Welt. "Sovereign, we have analyzed the remnants of the meteor from the moon in Los Angeles." She then gestured for him to read it.

And after a few minutes. Welt finally uttered words that surprised Siegfried. "Siegfried, I'm going to the moon. And can you contact your overseer, I need to talk to her to make this work."

After a few hours, Tilie was almost at Siberia as she thought this would be interesting.

"The overseer would be here in five minutes. She also told me that this is an important meeting of the leader of the two factions. So, I'll be pumping iron at the gym. Be nice to each other okay? Find me there if things go ballistic." Siegfried walked out and after a few more minutes, the blonde overseer entered the lounge they were in.

Tilie appeared with a glass of wine on hand. Appearing very relaxed with her meeting with them. "I haven't seen you in years Dr. Einstein, and you are the sovereign of Anti-Entropy. I believe this isn't the 1st time we have met." Tilie looked him up and saw that he was that little boy back then.

"I heard you were wounded Mr. Welt, I've dabbled in the medical arts. I could take a look at you if you'd like." Tilie went close to him and mockingly said to Welt.

Welt then crackled with honkai energy using the fragments of the star of Eden. "A performance check by someone who can't even hold their own wine... If you need proof of my full recovery, then I can show you a better display of my herrscher powers." He threatened as the glass of wine flew away.

Ottilie backed off and smirked. She then poured another glass. "Relax Mr. Welt, we face a common foe. We need to be friends here do we not?"

"Indeed, time is of the essence. Let us proceed with the meeting." Einstein stated and showed a display that was a text from the previous era.

"We have analyzed the meteors that came from the moon. We all know that AE has found ruins of the previous era in NA. And we have unearthed something that would be crucial to our fight against the herrscher." Einstein fiddled with her tablet and they saw the translations.

It was the work of a scientist named Dr. MEI. A type of device that could strip the honkai from a source and seal it using Soulium. The full version of Selene.

"We discovered this tech in another ruin. But we've been eluded on how we could reverse engineer this tech." Einstein said and her face soured for a moment.

'Ein-nii definitely wants us to work hard for this... What a bad man, not even giving us a hint.'

"As for the lunar fragments. They contained Soulium cores and we found that it has information about the weapon. Problem is, it is on the moon." She said and Welt frowned a bit. Thinking that this would be his last fight.

"In order for us to reverse engineer it, we would need undamaged samples and in order to get it. Someone has to mine the Soulium on the moon." She finished her presentation and Welt looked at the blonde.

"I am ready to go to the moon. I am hoping you could spare an agent to gather the materials while I distract the 2nd herrscher." Welt said with determination.

"Hmm, you don't fail to surprise me Mr. Welt. But your plan is risky no? Even if we have those rocks, would you be able to reverse engineer it?" Tilie raised a valid question.

"Listen Ottilie, we know you aren't interested in fighting the herrscher. It seems you are more interested on their powers. This would benefit Schicksal and you, more than it benefits us." Welt walked up to her.

"This is what I have to offer." He whispered that he would inevitably perish in the scuffle and Schicksal would lose a thorn on their side without the sovereign of AE.

Tilie laughed. "Forgive me, as I said. You never fail to surprise me. Sure, we will do it your way. I promise that my forces will not oppose you. Have Siegfried Kaslana as well to do your bidding and help however he can." Tilie agreed to his plans as she thought that Welt could damage the herrscher and she would swoop in for the kill.

"You do know that every plebeian in the world wants you to go to the moon, correct? Your sacrifice would be in vain and you would be forgotten quickly." Tilie thought it was really close to what Kallen went through. Proving her beliefs that humans will surely be the death of the race.

"I know that, trust me." Welt was expressionless. "You turned out to be a respectable adversary and antagonist. I apologize for any intended and unintended slights. Lord Welt, the 2nd of his name." Tilie respected his determination, they then agreed to the plan and it was set into motion.

Siegfried was exercising inside the gym and was stewing in his own thoughts. 'I should've probably stayed at the meeting.' He felt lame and didn't do much for the war effort.

'I know Welt told me to get Theresa some help. But I should've probably stayed to fight the 2nd herrscher.' He sat on one of the benches and gripped on his water container.

'Now, millions of lives perished because of it. Damn it, I'm a Kaslana. I saved one life, but millions died because of it. Is it really the correct choice?' He tightened his grip and the container almost got squished. Thinking of his Kaslana oath.

"Don't release your anger on the water bottle Siegfried, do you care about what it feels? No, because you only think about yourself." Welt appeared and Siegfried was broken from his thoughts.

"Ahh, sorry about that. Wait, the meeting ended already? I thought you guys would go fight or something 1st." Siegfried scratched his head and smiled wryly.

"Did your meeting went well?" Siegfried asked and Welt nodded. "Yes, she has guaranteed the full cooperation of Schicksal. Now let's go, our plane is ready."

Siegfried pumped his fist. "Yes, I will do anything to stop that damned herrscher and end this war." He was filled with determination.

Welt looked at him and thought that won't be enough. And he would surely not like the orders he would be given as a glorified miner.

They then went to yellowstone base of AE in USA.

"Mr. Welt, can I just ask? How did the overseer agree to your plan? She doesn't agree to almost anything." Siegfried was curious but Welt just shrugged him off.

"You will know later, now let us go." They walked into a hangar and was greeted by an associate of AE. ME corp. Raiden Ryoma.

A man saluted Welt flawlessly and gave a dirty look onto Siegfried. "Welcome back sovereign, the US branch welcomes you warmly."

"Thank you Raiden, for taking care of business here while we are away." Welt gestured for him to be at ease and entered the hangar.

Ryoma then glared at Siegfried. 'The mercenary vagrant Kaslana of Schicksal. Why does the sovereign trust that fool...' He then prepared for Welt's operation on the moon.

"Alright Siegfried we are here." Welt limped and was still injured, evidenced by his crutch.

Siegfried got blinded by lights and slapped himself when he saw what was revealed. "No fucking way!? Is that???" He looked at Welt with excitement.

"Yes, this will be our ride to the moon." Welt looked at the mech Arahato and thought they couldn't make a gundam from Ein's blueprints. So they settled on a mech that was pretty sub par in comparison. But will get the job done nonetheless.

"Dewd!? You made the Arahato ninja mech!? It's real!? Do you guys have a gundam too? Do you!? DO YOU!?" Siegfried got overexcited and reminisced his childhood.

"Dr. Tesla made it, and the anime and manga of Arahat or Arahato was made to give us some funding back then. Though gundams are out of our league." Welt gave a wry smile as they thought it was a ridiculous idea Ein gave them. But of course it worked excellently.

"Whaaaat!? You guys made it!? Can I have your autograph! I'm your number one fan! Pleaseee!?" Siegfried gushed and Welt thought he was still a manchild.

"Mr. Welt, Arahato is the most ninja and bombest mech ever! Especially that 1987 classic that gave us one of the best lines. Tyrant of the false heavens, witness the shattering of stars." Siegfried posed.

Welt gave a smile, as he remembered Welt Joyce fighting in New York back then. He then turned serious. 'Mr. Welt, I am your protege. The 1st herrscher that has been acknowledged by you. And I will continue what AE's goal. To protect humanity.' Joachim clenched his fist and prepared.
