Chapter 105: New Toys to Play With

Suyi was panicking and thought her daughter greatly injured herself or started to turn corrupted. "Master! Is my daughter alright!? She won't get killed right!?" She was getting hysterical and Ein calmed her down by poking her back.

She looked at him and got terrified. Remembering the time when he damned the other disciples to be cripples. "Geez, don't get so scared lady. I'm one of the nice guys you know?" He then put Sushang on a bed and her mother inspected her condition.

"So she's alright? There's nothing wrong anymore with her?" Suyi asked them to be sure, there was visually nothing wrong with her. But that's how it usually started.

"Umu, this cute girl is fine and dandy. She won't do it again for sure, that's how you learn if you're young and stupid." Ein said and nodded sagely. Stroking his beard that he grew in an instant.

Suyi sighed in relief and sat down near Sushang. "Any time now, she'll wake up soon." He patted her back and sat as well. Waiting for the girl to wake up.

Sushang started to gain consciousness and yawned. Looking absolutely refreshed due to Ein making her good as new. "Hngh, is it morning already?" She stretched and Suyi smacked the hell out of her with a shoe like a tiger asian mom she is.

"You damned brat! Master already told you that you weren't ready for the next step yet!" She then hugged her tightly and Ein chuckled. "That's an asian mom alright. I hope you won't be too strict like that if you have kids Hua, Xua." He patted their heads and they both imagined having a family, and the father had long silver hair, making them shake their heads immediately.

"Un, we won't." Xuanyuan said with a blush while Hua went silent. "Suyi, I don't think she'll do it again. Would you Sushang?" He raised a brow at Sushang and she gulped. Pressured by his immense presence now that she got more control over her honkai energy.

"Umu, but may I ask who you are mister? You don't look like from Shenzou." She looked at his form and he was wearing his trench coat and boots. Cosplaying full time whenever he had work to do, though he could change it immediately by using Venom.

"Me? I'm just some random guy that works here, don't worry about it." He waved his hands nonchalantly and Hua sighed. "He's my teacher Sushang. Don't believe him, he is powerful beyond measure." Hua introduced him as her master and Sushang had sparkles in her eyes from excitement.

"Are you really!? Please teach me sir! Master Phoenix is phenomenal don't get me wrong, but I would like to learn from you as well." She bowed her head and Ein scratched his cheek, looking at Hua if it's okay with her.

"Alright, but you'll still have to master eminence Sushang. You will sweat and cry blood if he trains you seriously without being able to do that much at least." She said to Sushang, but it didn't deter her one bit.

"I'll show you my determination, and maybe I can defeat you two to be the strongest martial artist." Sushang pumped her fist with strong will. But Hua and Xuanyuan laughed at her dreams.

"Sorry young one, forgive me for that. You can maybe surpass Jingwei here, but with Ein? That will be in your dreams forever, this hunk over here's strength is incomprehensible to the human mind, he could probably beat you up by just blowing air on you." Xuanyuan said proudly, learning some modern language over the years.

"Well, Xuanyuan said it so bluntly. But it is true, Ein could beat all of us here actually without even moving." Hua said with a wry smile.

Sushang went wide eyed and looked at Ein thoroughly, then she remembered Xuanyuan's name from legends. "Ji Xuanyuan? The yellow emperor of Shenzou? Is she the real deal!?" She asked them, not expecting the petite woman to be the legendary yellow empress that lead Shenzou to greatness from ancient times.

"Umu, that's right. No need to be uptight, that was a long time ago." Xuanyuan reminisced, now thankful that she could live a carefree life doing whatever she wanted.

"And Master Phoenix's teacher is that strong?" Sushang asked the two and they nodded. "Ohh, you're going to make me blush~" He patted their heads.

Sushang was a bit skeptical, but her master has spoken. And the yellow emperor was also his student. "I'd like to have a spar with you sir, I must see your strength for myself. To see is to believe after all."

Ein sighed and thought that this might happen. "Fine, let's go." He snapped his fingers and they got to the training ground. Suyi worriedly asked Hua and Xuanyuan if her daughter would be ok, but they just shrugged.

"Okay Sushang. Let's... Start!" Sushang suddenly went in a daze and Ein walked to the peanut gallery, took out some milk tea and snacks. While Hua got mooncakes, Xuanyuan some rare cheesecake, and cookies for Suyi.

"What did you do?" Hua and Xuanyuan asked, curious about what happened to Sushang. "It will kick in right about... Now." They looked at her and she suddenly shouted, kicking and punching air.

"She's fighting a battle with me that would make her lose pretty easily. It's a pretty low tier illusion if you ask me, and if she can't break out of it. Then she's going to need more time with you Hua." He crossed his legs and sipped on his milk tea.

"Ahh! You're not Master Phoenix's teacher for nothing. But you will regret it if you keep holding back!" She looked to be hit and dropped down on the ground, but she stood up and rushed at her front once again.

"This is pretty entertaining, look at her go at empty air like it was an enemy that she has to surpass." Ein thought it might take more time and took out some popcorn as well, he also showed the others Sushang's battle in her mind.

And it was one sided as expected. He parried every single blow Sushang gave. Heavy, light, fast, anything and everything were blocked with his finger. Adding insult to injury, he would only flick her as his attack.

She started to get frustrated and willed honkai energy on her hand to form a small blade. Remembering that Hua told her it could cut anything. "Take this!" She tried to slice him up with it, but he caught it between his fingers.

"Is that eminence? Aww, it's so cute." He provoked her even further and she was starting lose her cool.

"Worst thing is, she isn't even really fighting you for real. What a bad man you are Ein, playing with a girl's heart." Xuanyuan took a jab at him and felt sympathy for Sushang.

"Umu, it will be a big blow to her pride. Do you really think that's okay Ein?" Hua asked as Ein and HIMEKO basically bred her to be the perfect soldier and was taught that pride and honor has no use in war.

"Pride and honor is useless when you're dead. If she doesn't get over it, then you should just leave her be and don't teach her anymore." He said bluntly and Suyi flinched from his words.

Sushang continued for 30 more minutes and gassed out. Panting for air and completely exhausted. "Hmm, I guess I'll break her out of it. Train her more Hua, she needs it." He snapped his fingers and Sushang was released from the illusion, she then saw the three of them eating snacks and drinking some tea.

"Li Sushang, you're quite strong for your age. Stronger than me even, but I got stronger to the point that nobody could contest in just a few more years. Do you know why?" Ein asked while tapping on his wooden chair rhythmically. Putting pressure on her mind.

"It wasn't because it's my dream to. It's because I had to, you are satisfied with your growth and do not push yourself to the limits." He chided her, she was about to argue, but he cut her off.

"Smartly. Yes you pushed yourself, but why? It's to show off, not to be better. What is your reason to grow stronger girl? What's your motivation? Because as far as I can see, you just want to be cool and strong to show off to your master or your mother." She flinched from his words and thought deeper of why she wanted to become strong. And she couldn't think of anything.

"I... I'm sorry sir." She shook her head and bowed her head. "Don't be sorry girl, be better. Now come back here when you have a good reason to learn. Power isn't for people to play with, it comes with great consequences." He stood up and left the area, almost done with his new creations.

"Sushang... It's okay." Suyi tried consoling her daughter, but Sushang hit her hand away. "No it's not mom. Did I really just play and he was right?" She asked her master.

"You did and didn't. It's because you lack responsibility. And lacking it, leads to disaster. Grow from this Li Sushang, or be satisfied with being mediocre." Hua said to her and silently left as well.

Xuanyuan sighed and thought they were spartan all right. "You already know your goal girl. But for what is the purpose that you pursue it. That's the important part, or you will never achieve it." Xuanyuan gave her the best advice she could and left.

"Mom... Are they correct?" She asked Suyi and her mother smiled wryly. "Master Phoenix was always strict, but I never thought her teacher would be worse even though he is kind. Yes dear, you lack purpose. Master Xuanyuan said it already, but you only think about getting strong. I know you're young and do not know things that much. But you are doomed to failure if you continue on your path." Sushang was surprised from her words. Not expecting that her mother would also say that.

"I see, I do not understand. Why is this so hard and why is he disappointed in me?" She thought of the reasons and her mother patted her head. "You won't understand now, but be more responsible and train harder. Show him your determination, but be smart."

Ein was currently holding a variety of weapons, ones he made for others. On his left is a claymore that has a skull on the guard. Named rebellion, it was a catalyst to help Kallen be one with her honkai genes. Even though she received a gene seed, it was not perfect like the real Ein after all.

There were also extra to accompany her sword, Ebony and Ivory. But it wasn't ordinary in the least. A pair of black and white hand guns that would release bullets that move at relativistic speeds depending on how much energy you put in it. The bullets are also made of neutronium that unloads all of its weight upon impact.

At his right was a standard sized katana that looked plain at first sight. Though it is a sword specialized in cutting and spatial rending. With enough energy imbued to it, nothing can't be cut.

And his personal sub weapon. The chains of heaven. It was made to bind the gods, capable of making any type of energy inert when touched by it. The only limit is yourself unlike oath of judah. Enkidu worked in tandem with Venom so it could increase its length and size.

"I should give Kallen and Sakura these later. But I really want to know how far my gang has come. Maybe a little fight would work?" One of the mega structures were now online and was in low energy mode in the quantum sea. Absorbing null energy in a leisurely place so it won't retaliate. It could spawn creatures like honkai beasts after all, but dark violet and has a gooey feel to them unlike the solid honkai beasts.

"I'll create a separate dimension for the fight, don't want peepers." Ein went inside the sea and linked himself with the lone mega structure in the abyss. He then created a space that was infinite in all sides, but has a floor. It was all white and could contain their violent clashes as the mega structure sustains and repairs it.

"Yosh, I'll be having a blast with them. This could also serve as training if they ever have to fight the herrscher of the end." He went back to the surface and called on to every single one of his executives. The orphans would be ants to enemies of his caliber after all.

"Nyahallo everyone, I'm proud to announce that all of you have gotten strong. Stronger than when you guys relied on divine keys. And now it is time for you to train fighting someone that is visually unbeatable. And yes, that's me, no need to ask." He then gave Kallen and Sakura their weapons.

Ein transported them all to the separate space and they were in for a fight of a lifetime. "Yosh, I will be acting like the last herrscher and you guys have to try and defeat me as much as you can." He disappeared and everybody got into position.

They were all nervous, some were even sweating heavily. And at a white hill not far from them, he appeared. Wearing his now signature black trench coat and Masamune, his hair was waving in the wind, the long blade he held shone dangerously.

"On your knees, I want you to beg for forgiveness." His voice resounded and church organs started to rumble in the space. "Oh shit! It's the theme, it's about to go down! Vill-v shouted and entered fortress mode on her suit. Tiny nano bots of Adamantine floated all around, gathering energy to protect and attack in a heartbeat.

Everyone entered their honkai reactive form, they could now control it to the point they'll still be humanoid at full power.

Eden's skin thickened and hardened, shockwaves and vibrations shaking the earth. That were coming from her, she clenched her hand and put gravity on her fists to make punches more devastating and heavy.

Elysia sprouted crystals all over her body and they turned to dust, it scattered everywhere in the battlefield. She now has expanded her domain, inside it. Elysia can predict any attack, feel any surge of energy in the surroundings, she basically spread her senses and has nigh absolute control in it.

Mobius sprouted black scales and it glowed green between the seams. Dorsal spikes on her back looked menacing. Her honkai cascade form ramped up her specs to maximum overdrive. She breathed out steam and the inside of her mouth burned brightly with energy, turning into a mini godzilla.

SAKURA sprouted 9 tails and every single one that appeared enhanced a trait of hers. Speed, strength, endurance, durability, visual acuity, processing speed, energy control, regeneration, and killer instinct. She grasped on her sword, giving off battle lust in waves.

Aponia's eyes turned red, yellow lightning crackling on her person. 5 pairs of arms appeared instead of 2 and a halo shone on her hood. The huge butterfly wings behind her were siphoning energy as much as a universe's worth and church bells were being played at the background. She gripped her weapons tightly and focused, not able to rely on future sight. Instead, she would be fighting using pure skill.

Vill-v activated a mode on her battle suit called Tower of Babel. It was an ultimate support system that uses the biosuit of all the others present. Everyone's Adamantine in their body would be connected with her suit and she could unleash shields, attacks, defensive maneuvers, disseminate plans, and observe the battlefield. It is used with Elysia's domain, Aponia's future sight, SAKURA's time stop, and MEI's strategies to form a cohesive unit with absolute coordination.

Phyllis' tail hardened, her nails became sharp and her muscles bulged. The blood in her veins flowed faster and steam escaped from her body. Her dynamic vision improved to the point that everything she saw was gray. Phyllis then crouched and tensed like a spring, the veins on her thigh bulged due to the massive physical strain being put on them.

Kalpas transformed to a being of heat. Releasing it in waves and melting the ground, now he was able to reign it in and only the place his feet were on turned to lava. If not, he would release millions of degrees originating from him. He also can turn intangible like a logia fruit.

Kevin's body got armored with blue scales. His body emitted cold air and was now in a tie with the 5th herrscher. Every particle near him stopped moving and chemistry stopped working wherever he moved.

Kosma looked like a demon, just like Vishnu. His lanky body turned muscular and every second that he was in the form, it grew stronger and stronger. Absorbing the honkai energy that was abundant in the air.

Su's tuft of green hair turned to colorful feathers. He then connected their minds together so they'd be able to understand one another without even a slight delay. Normally, he would strain due to the overwhelming information from the other chasers, but he gets help with Vill's tower of Babel.

Hua's hair turned white with red tips. Wings of fire appeared on her back and a burning sword was now on her hand. Her blade mantra was the sharpest it has ever been, with her will. She could rend anything apart using the blade of Taixuan.

Kallen took out rebellion and her normally bulky and chaotic honkai cascade form became lithe. A mixture of blue and red from Parvati and Vishnu's genes. She then entered swordmaster style and prepared for the hardest fight of her life. Thinking of numerous combinations with all the styles she was taught.

Sakura breathed in deep and held on to Yamato tightly. She built up her focus and got in the zone. Her blade ready to cut down anything that got in her way. She waited for this day to come for years, sharpening her skill and swordplay in the dark slayer style until she got better than even SAKURA.

Griseo started speed painting and created stands that were all focused on artillery and pin point destruction. She then protected herself with a domain of her own and pumped out as much support as she could, making an army that would suit her needs and desires.

Xuanyuan perfected her blade mantra and she created multiple elemental dragons. Ice, lightning, earth, fire, and water. They all flew in the sky and stared at Ein in a standoff.

Ein smirked and completed the look with one wing that had jet black feathers. The black feathers fell down on the battlefield and the orchestra of his boss theme went to a crescendo.

"Is that all you have? Then I'm afraid this is unfairly matched, no matter. Resist with all you have, I'll give you a count. 1." He raised three fingers and put down one.

Everybody tensed and the battle field was silent, only his voice and music were heard. "2." They then held on to their weapons with as much grip as they could. "3."

"Attack!" Elysia shouted and the battle started in an instant. A battle that would show their development, prowess, and determination.
