164: Upgrade, Porygon2

Sometime later, when he was playing around with the hologram technology, Ran called him out, saying that there was a package waiting for him outside.

He quickly ran out and saw a Pidgeot waiting at the gate with a package tied to his feet. After giving it some beef jerky, he took the package to the basement to unwrap it.

Inside the package was the Upgrade that he had bought a few days ago. Yeah, he was going to use this to evolve his Porygon, and he couldn't wait any longer.

Excitedly, he called Porygon to come out of the computer. It had been sitting inside the computer to help Friday sort some information that he had obtained from Lawrence's airship.

Soon, Porygon came out of the computer and looked at him with a questioning mark on its face. He told it that the Upgrade disc he promised had arrived and it was going to evolve soon.

Porygon looked thrilled at that as it began to fly around the room. After it calmed down, he took it back to its Pokeball and connected the Pokeball to the computer.

He then carefully took out the disc from the case and put it into the disc slot on the computer. After that, he uploaded the date inside the disc to the Pokeball and waited.

A minute passed by.

'Is it done?'

Just as he was about to touch the Pokeball, Friday at this time informed that Porygon was still undergoing change inside the Pokeball.

Since Porygon's evolution was different from the usual, he could only stay patient and wait.

About fifteen minutes later, Friday finally told him that Porygon had successfully evolved. He breathed out a sigh of relief at that. He then reached out to the Pokeball and tossed it down to the floor.

The Pokeball opened wide, and Porygon flew out, revealing its new appearance to him. It looked much more rounded than before. In his opinion, it was at least much better than the previous block-shaped body.

"Porygon?"

He said softly.

"Porygon!"

As Porygon slowly opened its eyes, he noticed that they were no longer as dull-looking as before. Instead, they were much clear now. He also saw a trace of wisdom in the depth of its eyes.

"Congratulations! You're Porygon 2 now."

He congratulated it as Porygon 2 flew around him with excited cries. Then, he walked out of the basement with Porygon 2 and called out to everyone to celebrate its successful evolution.
