Flying Palace Crash

3, 2, 1... Boom!

A massive explosion occurred right after that. Dark smoke permeated the air as a string of explosions exploded on the Flying Palace. A raging fire swallowed everything. Within seconds, the whole airship was turned into broken pieces of metal.

"Oh my God!"

Everyone on Shamouti Island stared incredulously as the large airship was reduced to a smoldering wreck. They could hardly believe what they saw.

"Elder, what should we do?"

At the edge of the cliff near the shrine, Slowking seemed perturbed by the explosion just now.

Watching the airship crash, Elder Tobias gripped his cane tightly.

"Call the police!"

Suddenly, a mellow cry rang out. Then, a rainbow flew across the sky, followed by falling snow.

"Look, it's Articuno! The legendary bird of ice!"

Someone pointed at the sky.

A large crowd of people gathered on the beach. When Articuno, the legendary bird that can control ice, appeared, almost everyone kneeled on the ground and prayed.

Shriek!

Articuno flew over to the wreckage of the airship and pushed it to the sea. It then fired an icy-blue beam at it to stop the fire from spreading out.

Soon, the wreckage was encased in a block of ice.

"Search everywhere! Make sure you get all the energy devices. They can cause pollution. We need to make sure that they don't contaminate the island. And for god's sake! Someone, please chase out that Pokemon. They are hindering our work!"

"Yes, sir!"

Twenty-four hours had passed since the Flying Palace airship crashed. A professional team had been sent by the Kanto League to prevent the harmful substances from affecting the surrounding area.

High-ranking executives of the Orange League were on the scene, and police officers from several nearby islands were also dispatched to assist in the investigation.

"The airship belongs to Mr. Lawrence. He is the one who caused all of this. We have evidence to prove that he is colluding with Team Aqua. He is also involved in illegal Pokemon research."

Hisoka stepped forward and placed several photos as well as the recordings he had taken earlier on the airship.

On the opposite side of the desk was a familiar silver-haired man sitting on a chair. He gave him a slight nod of recognition, to which he returned.

Matthias then looked at the middle-aged man in a black suit sitting next to him.

"Director Ida, what do you think about this matter?"

Director Ida thought for a moment before he replied.

"We need to make sure the evidence is real before we proceed. Other than that, there's nothing else we can do. We can only wait until the police finish checking the evidence. If it's true, then we need to send him to the Kanto League headquarters. This is an international case. We don't have the authority to handle this."

"Thank you, Director Ida."

Matthias nodded and said his thanks. He then stood up from his chair and walked to Hisoka. A glimmer of admiration filled his eyes.

"Let's go out and find a place to talk."

"Sure."

Hisoka nodded in reply. They both then left the tent under Will and Doran's curious eyes.

A few minutes later, both of them were standing in a clearing not far away from the crash site.

"Good job for catching that guy, Hisoka. We have long suspected that guy is involved with illegal Pokemon research. We tried to find evidence to bring him down, but he was too slippery. It's great now that he is finally caught."

Said Matthias excitedly.

"Thank you, Matthias. But it wasn't me alone. Doran and Will also helped.

He replied with a smile.

Matthias hurriedly waved his hand.

"You're too modest. Anyway, I'm going to give you and your friends a reward. Is there anything that you want? Don't refuse! You deserve this."

He rubbed his chin in thought before saying.

"Can I change my gym to a different city?"

"Huh? Why do you want to move to a different city?"

Matthias looked puzzled at his request.

He shrugged, "Matthias, you also know the situation in Dark City. Even though the traffic is increasing, it is still a remote place. I want to know if it is possible for me to move to a different city."

"Hmm. You can. But are you sure you want to move? There are a lot of people competing for gym leader positions in large cities."

Matthias asked.

"I'm sure."

He smiled confidently.

"Okay. There are two cities in Kanto that have no gyms yet, Sable City and Komoda City. Sable City is close to Pewter City. It has the best medical care among all the cities in Kanto. As for Komoda City, it is the third most populous city in Kanto, second only to Celadon City and Saffron City. It is also home to the most renowned Pokemon Academy in Kanto. You are familiar with Professor Oak, right? He is the vice president of the Pokemon Academy."

Matthias explained.

He had heard of both cities. Now the question was why would there be two vacant gyms at the same time.

Matthias seemed to know what he was thinking.

"Don't worry too much about it. I can't tell you why there are two unoccupied gyms but I can confirm that it's true. You only need to make sure that you win the gym competition."

Said Matthias.

After hearing that, he finally put down his worries.

"I've decided then. I'll choose Komoda City."

He said.

Matthias nodded in satisfaction.

"Good. The Komoda City gym competition is going to start in October. You still have about three months to prepare."

"Thank you, Matthias."

He shot him a grateful smile.

Matthias shook his head, "It's just a small matter. This is your credit anyway."

"Hisoka! Over here!"

He, Will, and Doran had just walked out of the crash site when he suddenly heard someone calling his name. When he turned around, he saw three women running toward him.

It was Suzie, Daisy, and a petite girl, who he had never met. But from what he noticed, the girl should be one of the local residents based on her clothes.

"Suzie!"

He waved toward her.

"What are you doing here?"

She asked, out of breath.

"There's a slight problem during the test. I'll explain later. Why don't you wait for me at Tangelo Island?"

"Uh. It's Daisy. She asked me to accompany her to the festival on Shamouti Island."

She said embarrassedly.

"Never mind."

He shook his head.

So what are you doing here? Don't you know that this place is dangerous right now?"

He asked in a stern tone.

"Well. Melody said she wanted to go check up on Lightning Island. So we followed her-"

"Excuse me?"

But before she could finish what she wanted to say, someone suddenly cut her off.

"Are you the one who saved the island?"

The petite girl appeared in front of him. Her timid eyes were full of curiosity.

"Who is she?"

He turned to look at Suzie.

"She's Melody, the Festival Maiden of Shamouti Island."
