Salamence Outrage

Ice Island.

The large explosion that was caused by Salamence had finally settled down. The large rock that was raised by Rhyperior earlier had broken into pieces, leaving a pile of rubble on the ground.

Sigana sat on Altaria as she watched the destruction caused by her Salamence. She was curious whether that guy managed to survive that Hyper Beam just now.

She had a hunch that Hisoka was still alive. He was one of the most powerful trainers she had ever faced.

"I hope you die down there."

She cursed under her breath. Then, she took out her wireless radio and put it in her ear.

"Dave! Where are you? I hope you are on your way, or I'll tell Matt everything you did just now. Don't try to fool me. I'll give you five minutes to get your ass down here. If you are not here by that time, I'll leave."

After speaking in a harsh tone, she hung up the call, not giving them any chance to make excuses.

Dave, on the other side of the call, angrily banged his fist on the table.

Seeing that, his deputy, Haas, stepped forward hesitantly.

"Captain, what should we do now?"

'What else can I do except follow her order?'

He groaned in his heart. Taking a deep breath, he calmed himself down and turned toward Haas,

"Tell the man to get ready. We are heading to Ice Island."

"Captain, why should we follow her order?"

Haas asked in a whisper.

"Can't we just ignore her?"

He shook his head wryly.

"She is right. We are the ones who need to catch Hisoka, not her. She was only sent by Matt to help us. If we fail, she can just push everything on us."

He paused for a moment and continued.

"You should know Matt's temper very well. Let's just complete the task. Once he gets angry, we will be in big trouble."

"I, I see."

Haas stuttered, his face turning pale.

Ice Island.

There was not a single movement from the rubble, even after a few minutes had passed. In his outrage, Salamence rushed toward the ground with his wings covered in white light.

He rushed head-on into the rubble, scattering the piles of rocks everywhere. However, there was nothing underneath the rubble except bare ground.

Immediately afterward, Salamence became even angrier. The red aura on his body had turned crimson by now. He raised his head and breathed out a large fireball into the sky.

"The explosion just now came from over there!"

Suddenly, a shout could be heard, followed by a sound of hurried footsteps.

"Are these people stupid? Why do you want to rush to danger?"

Sigana, in the sky, could clearly see that a few people were approaching Salamence right now. She knew they must be the participants who had just arrived on the island. They must have run over here because of the clash.

"Oh well. These guys are dead. I don't think Salamence is calming down any time soon."

She shrugged her shoulders. It was pointless for her to stop them. Even she couldn't stop Salamence's rage. Why should she care about these strangers?

"Wow, what kind of Pokemon is this? It looks so cool!"

A group of people walked out of the forest with surprised expressions on their faces as they stared at the Salamence not far away from them. They all came from Kanto and Johto. Most of them had never seen this kind of Pokemon from Hoenn.

"I know! I know this Pokemon."

Suddenly, one of them jumped with an excited expression on his face.

"This Pokemon should be called Salamence if I'm correct. It is one of the strongest species in Hoenn, just like Dragonite and Tyranitar. It is almost impossible to find one in the wild. We are so lucky today!"

As soon as he said that, the other also jumped with joy.

"Is it a wild Pokemon? I don't see anyone else around here. Why don't we catch it? I'm pretty sure it can be sold for a lot of money."

One of them wiggled his eyebrows playfully.

"Probably not. There are many traces of battle left here. That Pokemon must have an owner."

They chatted and discussed among themselves. Unfortunately, they didn't pay attention at all to the current state of Salamence, who had turned his attention to them.

Said the person closest to the unlucky man with a frightened expression on his man.

A few of them couldn't stand the sight and vomit instantly on the spot. Thankfully, they managed to escape the fireball just now. Otherwise, they might suffer the same fate.

The other people swallowed in fear. They finally realized what they encountered was not a harmless Pokemon but a very violent and angry creature.

"Come out, Feraligatr!"

The man who shouted just now released his Pokemon as soon as the fireball disappeared. He didn't have any Pokemon that could restrain Dragon-type Pokemon, so he just sent out his Feraligatr. At least this way, he could block Salamence's Fire-type attacks.

"Hey, you!"

He stood behind Feraligatr worriedly as he called out the others, who were still in a daze.

"If you want to survive, quickly release your Pokemon. If you guys have any Fairy or Ice-type Pokemon, that would be great too!"

One of them took out his Pokeball and threw it out.

"My Poliwrath knows Ice Beam. It should be able to deal some damage to it."

"I don't have any Water or Fairy-type Pokemon."

Said one of the men.

The remaining people shook their heads. None of them had a Pokemon that could restrain Dragon-type Pokemon.

At this time, Hisoka was looking at them through binoculars with relish. A few minutes ago, he had just come out from the hole made by Rhyperior.

'These guys are out of luck.'

He thought, shaking his head slightly.

Suddenly, his phone rang. He put down the binoculars and took his phone out of his pocket. It turned out that Doran was calling him.

He hurriedly accepted the call.

"Hello, Doran. What's the matter? Did you find any signs of Team Aqua? I got attacked by them just now. You should be careful out there. They might be looking for you."
