Chapter 68: Hurrying Over

Charlotte's heavy breathing and moaning could be heard clearly in his ears, constantly challenging Ethan's patience.

He chuckled bitterly, walking into the living room, feeling a little better.

There was a sudden ringing from the door, and he saw Susan standing outside.

As he reached to open the door, Susan's first words were about Charlotte, but her expression froze when her eyes met his.

"What are you doing here?"

"She's in the bathroom."

He pointed towards the bathroom, then sat down on the sofa.

"What's wrong with you?" Susan asked, worried.

"Nothing, just had a bit too much to drink."

He propped himself up with one hand on the sofa, holding his head in the other, "Henry is coming soon. We have to leave for another room before he arrives to avoid being photographed."

Today's events were far too coincidental, and it was impossible to believe that nobody had meddled in them.

Susan quickly went to check on Charlotte in the bathroom.
