Groups of hunters moved all around the place, the first floor which was the receptionist hall was crowded and even the stairs had people going up and down frequently.

It could not be helped, the hunters of chronicle city were incredibly busy and so were every guild branch in the city. The beast wave had not only left a gaping hole in everyone's heart due to the loss of a family member or friend but also a lot of resources and opportunities for the hunters and mages of chronicle cities.

The corpses of the beasts were incredibly valuable treasures and they had yet to be completely cleaned out even after so many weeks, adding to that was the mission of burying the bodies of the dead that was posted by the academy. This gave the hunters, common mages, and even students of the academy the opportunity to earn some extra gains while cleaning around the city.
