Who Should Die!

"What a pair! Who do you think was the crazier, nerdier person that was not liked by any of the boys, or the one who had run away from the mental hospital? "

"Just look at their entwined hands. Is that a kind of dating or something? "

"Only a crazy person like Alec could be seduced by that crazy nerd with glasses."

They all started to mock them, their voices increasing with every passing second that started to echo in the mind of Alec.

"Stop it!" he whispered, but he couldn't avoid them. Alec closed his eyes as he felt their voices ringing and echoing inside his mind like a broken-down radio.

Slowly another voice started to creep in between them.

"Kill them!"

"Yes Alec, kill them all! They do not deserve to live after insulting you. Another set of whispers started filling his ears. Though the voice was low, it was more enticing and Alec almost agreed with them.

The sky turned darker and he could see the same dragon flying high into the sky while passing him a glance full of disdain, as if he was also mocking Alec for being a coward.

"Just stop it!" he shouted with such strength this time that the kids snickered.

"Who do you think you are to order us? Huh? You and that ugly duckling! I feel nauseous just looking at both of you! " The boy made a disgusting face, and Jenne shivered.

She felt nervous and embarrassed by the way their comments were increasing. Mostly they just let her be when she did not reply to them, but now they were being more sarcastic than normal.

The voice whispered in Alec's ears again.

"They should be taught a lesson or they would think that they are free to do anything!"

His eyes had started to turn darker as his fury increased when he saw the red eyes of Jennie that were filled with tears to the brim.

"Both of them are just wasting the living space. People like them should die."

The word echoed like a mantra in his mind as Alec snapped his head towards the directions of the bunch of boys that were passing sarcastic comments and muttered in a cold voice,

"You are the one who deserves to die, you worthless human scum. YOU DESERVE TO DIE!!"

An Inhuman voice roared out those words through Alex's throat.

"Clap" "crack" "boom"

The sound of lightning filled the entire ground. The sky that was clear and free of clouds just a while ago turned black with thunder.

Strong winds started to blow in their surroundings with the power to blow everything away in their way.

Even the tallest and strongest-looking trees started to wildly shake with the wind and that presence in the air.

"What is happening?" The boys looked around with confusion as the winds rustled in their ears and the sky that was fine just a while ago turned into an apocalyptic scene.

"Boom"

The lighting crackled somewhere far in distance and it felt as if the whole world shook under the power of the thunder, the atmosphere suddenly became heavy and menacing like the wrath of thunder god would only quell if it shed the blood of someone.

"Let's go! We will handle them later!" The girl whispered to Alec with squinting eyes, but Alec was not ready to let them go so easily.

"Why? Who is a coward now? Stay here and reply! " He shouted, and Harry turned to look at him with a scornful gaze.

"Alec, please let them go. It looks like it's going to rain. Your wound should not be wet or it will get an infection." muttered the girl as she held his hand and tried to drag him with her.

Alec turned to look at the girl, whose eyes were filled with worry. She was not worried about herself, but about him! The thought stunned him.

"What did you just say?" he asked, thinking it was just another illusion of his when the girl frowned.

"We shall leave. I think it is going to rain!" She repeated as she looked at the sky that was turning darker with every passing second that it felt like it was already night.

When he still did not reply but continued to stare at her, she frowned and started dragging Alec towards the hall.

Alec forgot about the existence of Harry at that moment as he followed the girl silently.

"Hey you! Now who is trying to run, huh? You piece of shit! " Do you think you can leave just like that? " Harry felt humiliated to be talked back like that and challenged, all his other friends already scrambled back into the school buildings to protect themselves from the rain, but now even this crazy nerd ignored him.

He followed Alec in hasty steps to stop him and beat him to a pulp. But before he could take a few more steps to reach Alec, a red lightning bolt ran down the sky illuminating the entire area in a shade of blood for that split second.

"Crack" "Boom"

Harry, who was behind Alec and Jennie, got hit by the thunder square on the head as it snaked through his every fiber ferociously burning his cells and boiling his blood incinerating his flesh and charring his bones to coal.

"Thud"

Harry's burnt and charred body fell to the ground with a soft thud as the force from the fall further broke apart the body causing it to be broken into a multitude of pieces like a shattered porcelain.

"Alec!" Jennie got spooked by the sound of thunder that she jumped forward, letting out a scream in terror and fear only to turn around and see Harry's broken body releasing cinders of smoke.

She always hated the boy for insulting her, but never in her life had she thought that he would die like this.

She felt petrified and held Alec for her life when the shock hit her.

She hid her face in the chest of Alec to not look at the scene anymore when the boy turned to ashes after burning for a while.

"Shush, you do not need to worry, Jenny. I am always here with you. " A sinister smile formed on Alec's face as he patted the girl that was snuggled to his chest, and a look of satisfaction filled his face as he whispered.

"Good bye, Harry!"
