Operation 'Annoy Caster' 2/3

"Well well, you look like a deer in front of headlights." said Aqua smiling while looking at Caster's face.

Caster chose to remain silent and ignore Aqua's taunt. As much as it pained her to admit it, inside here she didn't stand a chance. She was confident about being the strongest within her territory, how strong would a goddess be within her own domain then?

Thinking about her situation, all she could think of doing was severing the connection between the goddess and the Noble Phantasm she had activated to make the domain disappear. For this to happen however, she would need to be able of getting close to her and actually staying her... and she didn't have much confidence in this plan.

"Already arrived at the inevitable conclusion that I am in charge here?" asked Aqua, still wearing an amused grin on her face.

Was this really her fate again? To be the plaything at the hands of gods?

"Awww come on, don't look at me like that. I wouldn't even have done this if you didn't start attacking out of nowhere..."

Caster simply looked at Aqua, clearly not believing her words.

"Okey okey I would have done it anyway, you attacking just gave me the perfect excuse, but it is not for the reason you are thinking. I want to make a deal with you, you know become allies and all that.

For us to become allies I obviously need to do something about that treacherous personality of yours, I was like hey Aqua, what better way to convince her to join you than to offer to grant her wish? So, what do you think about joining me then? I don't mind granting your wish..." said Aqua.

Caster wasn't sure about what to do. Sure maybe for a goddess granting her a longer time here wouldn't actually be any trouble, but the one in front of her was a divine spirit, which means she is not actually as strong as a goddess on her prime. But all this depends on wether this goddess could even be trusted, and trusting her would mean she learnt nothing during her life.

"Sigh, I understand that you don't trust me, considering your story I would think of you as stupid if you did. However, just because I am a goddess doesn't mean I am like the greek b*tches you know? I don't go around cursing people I don't like just because I can.

In fact, you could think that as much as they are b*tches I am awesome. Meaning I am the most awesome there is." said Aqua while smiling widely.

A small, almost unnoticeable smile appeared on Caster's face when she heard the insult, however it was not enough to take away the nervousness she was currently feeling.

"How do you know I hate greek gods?" asked Caster.

"Well that's because I know who you are." Aqua said the very words Caster was wishing not to hear.

"H-How?"

"Heh, you are focusing to much on the small details, Medea-chan." said Aqua sweetly.

Medea was now sure she was in trouble.

"Why is a goddess participating in the Holy Grail War?" asked Caster.

Aqua grinned excitedly, as if she had been waiting for this moment for her entire life. "Well, Medea-chan, it is normal for you not to know something like this, even if it is obvious..."

Caster's eyebrow twitched.

"Where the is a will there is a way! And there is no greater will than that of this goddess!" said Aqua proudly.

Caster was confused at the amount of nonsense Aqua was spouting all of a sudden.

"But honestly, what's up with the lame questions huh? There are so much more interesting and relevant things to ask, so I don't understand why you are asking this things." said Aqua with a sad expression on her face.

"Like what?"

"Well, things like if I can really fulfil your wish, how am I so pretty, how can I maintain my Noble Phantasm for so long... though spoiler alert, all the questions have the same answer, because I am awesome!"

"..."

"Oi oi don't look at me like that! Anyway, what do you think about my offer? I will grant you your wish if you accept to become our ally."

"How did you know I fell in love with him? Is this caused or influenced by you?" asked Medea, though she already knew this was not the case. She might not be as strong as a goddess, but she would undoubtedly notice if she was being controlled or influenced by someone.

"Sigh, I understand why you would be doubtful or angry, but I would appreciate it if you didn't put me on the same level as other goddesses." said Aqua with a hint of seriousness on her tone. "Look I need you and you need me. You may think that you are strong but the ones in actual control of this war will step on you and squash you like a bug. If you help me save someone I will grant you your wish, I will help you spend more time with you beloved."

"Is that a threat?" asked Medea angrily. She might be at Aqua's mercy right now, but she still believed herself to be among the strongest of the war, so being threatened, especially by a goddess, angered her greatly.

"No, it is simply an unavoidable future. Sigh, okey look, I don't mean this as an insult but you are not as strong as you think you are, sure your Noble Phantasm is really useful, especially in this war, but you don't actually stand a chance against Berserker, Saber and me, or actual most dangerous person of the war.

Besides, Berserker is already with us as our ally and his master agreed to giving up on the war and helping us instead in exchange for me granting her wish. So you see, you are already out of the war, wether you want to accept it or not. I know it sounds cruel, especially to you who has suffered at the hands of gods, but you are fated to loose this war, unless you side with me.

Now before you say no, do consider the fact that just because the offer comes from a goddess doesn't mean it is a bad offer. Besides... you really don't have anything to loose, no offence." said Aqua, confidently yet with a hint of pity on her voice.

To say Medea was angry would be an understatement, yet she spent her life angry, in sadness and pain, she could handle those negative emotions. Still.. knowing that everything she said made sense...

"Tell me who this third enemy is." said Medea.

"Gilgamesh, king of heroes, the first and strongest heroic spirit. Tell me Medea, are you confident in defeating a man who doesn't even need to step foot on this mountain to destroy it?" asked Aqua. Though she wasn't pleased with the commanding tone of Medea, she chose to let it pass this once.

Medea stayed silent for a moment, before continuing with her questions.

"How do you know my wish?"

"For the same reason I know your name, it is one of the privileges of my class combined with my status as a goddess. Makes me know a lot of things."

After this answer, Medea remained silent a bit longer, weighing the pros and cons of her choices while thinking of different options, before asking her final question.

"How can I trust you?"

Aqua grinned at this.

"You can't, in the same manner I can't really trust you either right?"

"I suppose you do know me..." said Medea while chuckling softly.

"Well, I don't have any actual way of proving that I won't betray you after using you, but I do have my pride as a goddess you know? Betraying someone after giving them my word would be an insult to myself, and insulting me is obviously something that should be punished. Besides, how could the most awesome of all goddesses use something as lowly as betrayal in her plans, I have no need for such pathetic tricks." said Aqua while smiling.

"I see... before I agree, tell me how are you planning on fulfilling my wish." said Medea.

"Well..."
