Shinichi vs Mammon (2)

Outside of the City of Circe, on the battlefield, two powerful monsters are staring at each other in the air. The other one is a Demon which is mankind fears and the mastermind who invaded the city of Circe, while on the opposite side was a young human boy who led the 10,000 mages to annihilate the 50,000 demons who invade.

"How will you be able to surpass me if you are going to die hmm?" Mammon asked

"It is too early to know who will die between us" Shinichi replied and he vanished

Shinichi appeared in front of Mammon and was about to punch him in the face with his fist covered in flames. Mammon was also prepared, he also coated his hand with dark energy wanted to catch Shinichi's fist, but when he saw Shinichi's flame, he was startled because of its pure energy that counters his dark energy he suddenly put a defensive stance.

"Flame Magic: Phoenix Flame Fist"

Shinichi smashed his flaming fist at Mammon sending him flying but Shinichi didn't stop, He vanished from his position and appeared beside Mammon while he is still flying backward because of the force of Shinichi's punch.

"Fire Magic: Phoenix Flame Gatling"

Multiple fire fists rained down on Mammon. Mammon shouted forcing himself to stable his body and unleashing his dark magic.

"DON'T GET COCKY HUMAN! Dark Magic: Thousand Soul!"

Suddenly a huge black hole appeared at the back of Mammon and countless black souls appeared as it collided with the raining fire fist of Shinichi.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The countless booming sound resounded all over the City of Circe, making the citizen even more nervous and fearful of what was about to happen but they also feel hope as they saw the young man in the air fighting that powerful demon. All the mages are clenching their fist tightly, there is no sound will be heard from them as they are all intently watching Shinichi's battle.

They all wanted to help Shinichi but with their current state, they will be only a burden to him, they all knew it very well, so the only way for them to fight with him was to watch this battle until the end. Will they die after this? or will they have returned victorious? No one knows.

They will accept the outcome of this battle without regret. If Shinichi ever dies in fighting that powerful demon, then all of them will die with him. All their hopes and future were now on Shinichi's shoulders.

After the two powerful magic spells disappear the battlefield became clearer. They saw the two-person fighting in the air. Shinichi and Mammon are now fighting in close range. Mammon used his two-horn wanted to stab Shinichi but Shinichi grab it with his two hands and used his right knee straight to Mammon's face.

Mammon use his right hand wanted to grab the knee of Shinichi but Shinichi suddenly change the direction of his knee wanted to strike Mammon's temple instead. Mammon used his left hand to block Shinichi's knee successfully and he followed with a kick to Shinichi's chest.

Bang!

Shinichi was sent flying, Mammon follow up with his magic.

"Dark Magic: Dark Ray!"

Mammon's golden eyes brightened and a dark ray of light shot towards Shinichi. Shinichi flapped his crimson wings to stable himself in the air, the speed of the Dark Ray was much faster than the previous one. Before it could connect to Shinichi, he also uses his spell to weaken the force of the dark ray.

"Fire Magic: Phoenix Fire Fist"

Shinichi punched the dark ray of light but Shinichi was once again sent flying by the force of the two spells. He slammed to the ground

The mages all shouted at the same time wanted to rush towards Shinichi. But before they could rush to Shinichi a melodic voice suddenly echoed in their ears before they look at the location of that voice.

When they saw the one who said that, all of them calmed down because it was Reina. Reina doesn't have a worried expression on her face.

If the girlfriend of Shinichi is telling them that he was fine, then there is no need to panic. but in reality, Reina also was worried deep inside her heart.

But panicking won't be able to help their situation. It will only make it worse. So instead, she appeared to be fine to calm down the mages.

Esri understands Reina's intention so she also didn't show any worried expression. They don't have a choice but to believe that their beloved was fine.

The mages looked in Shinichi's direction, it was covered in dust. Reiji on the other hand was gritting his teeth blaming his own powerlessness, why he has to be a coward and weak as he also wanted to fight alongside Shinichi fighting a strong opponent.

He wanted to laugh at his past actions, he wanted to beat himself up. Reiji was full of regret and helplessness right now, but at the same time. A burning passion of wanting to become stronger and to walk side by side by his idol was growing inside his heart.
