A/N: Ok guys, remember when I said about that there will be an explanation about Zane's action?

Will here, some of you might find it still stupid but this should clear somethings up.

I heard a familiar voice spoke after our battle.

"I wasn't expecting you to actually beat him."

Quickly turning around, I saw the familiar golden light, the one that belonged to father-in-law.

"Where you do one that did this?" I asked, there was no point in asking what he was doing here because he could not have possible been just passing by, I have a feeling that it was him that made this whole set up but I still asked.

"Yes."

"Why?"

"Why? You must've realized after some time living in that world that a father just easily giving his daughter away like money is stupid."

"Sure those may happen on other planets but I'm not that kind of father."

He's right, in the past I realized that it sounded bizarre, but I just left it there since I couldn't ask him.

"I'm a caring father, and seeing my daughter fall in love with someone who is in no way worthy of her is angering."

"I asked her to change her mind about you but every time she would just ignore me and spend all her time watching you. She doesn't talk to me as much as before."

'Wait a fucking minute, is he complaining that she's no longer spending time with him?' I thought in my head.

"But since she seemed so fixated on you, I gave you a chance, to reincarnate in that world and to see if you'll abuse your powers."

"Every human that has powers like yours would immediately abuse it. Only a tiny percent wouldn't, and I thought that not letting you remember your pass will change you but I guess not."

"You erased my memories?"

"Of course I did, if I didn't then you would not change. I didn't erase your memories of those entertainments because I wanted you to go to a world with people that can tempt you."

"So does that mean that you were the one that put me in the void?"

"Yes, one of the things that I thought would change you is that by making you go crazy, my daughter would stop being in love with you."

"But why did I not go crazy then?" I asked, I'm mad that he did that but since it didn't work it also gave me satisfaction.

Zane merely raised his hand towards me as it glow white light.

"!!!" I tried to move but my head throbbed as waves of memories hit me.

Memories that showed a life of a young man that even though wasn't gifted enough still made it to the top.
