God, that’s so unfair. These chapters were so good. I can’t believe I actually read two chapters it felt like 1.

I had to reread before I understood that sunny killed awakened Rikas shortly after her made her message and copied her last words with the extraordinary rock. Then he used the rock to relay her words back to the Ascended from Clan Song.

I DONT want this to be mongrel. Mongrel has the positive image of a war hero. Killing humans like this does two things. 1. partially show Mongrel’s biases 2. Show he is alive, and what do people love more want to see a hero fall from grace? A fear the Mongrel reputation will fall like how Kai’s did in the second nightmare after he came back alive.
